- Installation Notes:
- The hood pin switch must be installed if the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open. Set function A11 to OFF.
- This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.
- Warranty void if opened.
Product Usage Instructions
- To add the firmware version and options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately).
- To program remote starter option for R.S. OEM REMOTE STAND ALONE:
- Set FUNCTION to 38.
- Set MODE to 2.
- If the vehicle is not equipped with a functional hood pin, program the bypass option:
- Set UNIT OPTION to A11 (OFF).
- Program the bypass option:
- Set UNIT OPTION to C1.
- Unlock before / Lock after (Disarm OEM alarm):
- Set UNIT OPTION to D2.
- By default, the E5 option is deactivated.
REGULAR AND THAR-GM7 THARNESS INSTALLATION
**MANDATORY INSTALL
- HOOD PIN
HOOD STATUS :** THE HOOD PIN SWITCH MUST BE INSTALLED IF THE VEHICLE CAN BE REMOTE STARTED WITH THE HOOD OPEN, SET FUNCTION A11 TO OFF.
Notice: the installation of safety elements are mandatory. The hood pin
is an essential security element and must be installed.
THIS MODULE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. A WRONG CONNECTION
CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.

DCRYPTOR PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE

1x FLASH LINK UPDATER,
1x FLASH LINK MANAGER
SOFTWARE | PROGRAMME
Microsoft Windows Computer with Internet connection Ordinateur Microsoft
Windows avec connection Internet
1x FLASH LINK MOBILE
1x FLASH LINK MOBILE APP
Smartphone AndroId or iOS with Internet connection (provider charges may
apply).
BEFORE PROGRAMMING SET THE UNIT OPTIONS AND SAVE.
-
Press and hold Insert the programming button: the 6-PinMain connector.
-
Release the programming button when the LED is YELLOW.
If the LED is not solid YELLOW the 6-Pin connector (Main-Harness) and go back to step 1. -
Insert the required remaining connectors.
-
Press release and the programming button five times (5x).
The YELLOW LED will alternate between 5x flashes and a pause. until the YELLOW LED turns ON. -
Turn ignition (ON). the Ignition to the ON/RUN position.
The RED LED will turns ON.
The YELLOW LED turns OFF.
If the LED is not solid RED the 6-Pin connector (Main-Harness) and go back to step 1. -
Turn the Ignition to the OFF position
-
Remove the key from the ignition barrel
-
Wait 5 seconds.
-
Turn the Ignition to the ON position.
The BLUE LED will turns ON.
Wait, the BLUE & RED LED will turn OFF.
Wait, he YELLOW LED will Flash.
Wait he YELLOW LED will turn OFF.
Wait he BLUE LED will Flash rapidly.
If the LEDs do not react as shown, the 6-Pin connector (Main-Harness) and go back to step 1. -
Turn the Ignition to the OFF position. the BLUE LED flash slowly.

Disconnect all connectors and after the 6-Pin (Main-Harness) or the 4-Pin Data-link connector.

Use the tool: FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE to visit the DCryptor menu.
*Parts required (not included) -
AFTER DCRYPTOR PROGRAMMING COMPLETED Go back to the vehicle and reconnect the 6-Pin (Main- Harness) or the 4-pins (Data-Link) connector and after all the remaining connector.
The module is now programmed.
REMOTE STARTER / ALARM VERIFICATION
Test the remote starter. Remote start the vehicle.

The vehicle must be running.
-
Make sure that all doors are closed and the transmission is in the NEUTRAL position.

Press the brake pedal.
-
Engage the parking brake.
-
Release the brake pedal.
-
Press the START button for 3 seconds.
The parking lights will flash once and then remain on. -
Remove the key from the ignition barrel : the vehicle will remain running with the Remote-Starter.

Exit the vehicle and close all of the doors. The engine will stop running once all the doors are closed.

Ready mode is now active, remote start is functional. If one of the doors is open the mode will be disabled.
CHOICE 2 – CHOIX 2
- The vehicle must be running.
- Make sure that all doors are closed and the transmission is in the NEUTRAL position.
- Press the brake pedal.

- Release the brake pedal.
- Press the START button for 3 seconds. The parking lights will flash once and then remain on.
- Remove the key from the ignition barrel : the vehicle will remain running with the Remote-Starter.
- Exit the vehicle and close all of the doors.
- Lock the doors with the remote-starter remote or the OEM remote. The engine will stop running.
- Ready mode is now active, remote start is functional.
If one of the doors is open the mode will be disabled.
CHOICE 3 – CHOIX 3
- The vehicle must be running.
- Make sure that all doors are closed and the transmission is in the NEUTRAL position.
- Press the brake pedal.
- Engage the parking brake.
- Release the brake pedal.
- Remove the key from the ignition barrel : the vehicle will remain running with the Remote-Starter.
- Exit the vehicle and close all of the doors. The engine will stop running once all the doors are closed.
- Ready mode is now active, remote start is functional. If one of the doors is open the mode will be disabled.
TAKE OVER AUTOMATIQUE TRANSMISSION
- All doors must be closed.
- Remote start the vehicle.
- Unlock the doors with the remote-starter remote or the OEM remote.
- Insert and Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position.
- Press the brake pedal.
- The vehicle can now be put in to gear and driven.

STARTER PROGRAMMING.
