BEGA 50213.2 Wall Luminaire LED
Product Information
The product is a wall luminaire from the STUDIO LINE series. It features an aluminum luminaire housing with a velvet black finish. The luminaire weights 0.65 kg and is designed for a mains voltage of 220-230 V at 50/60 Hz. It comes with a temporary thermal shutdown feature to protect temperature-sensitive components. The luminaire is equipped with an LED module that has a color temperature of 3000 K, a color rendering index (Ra) greater than 90, a module luminous flux of 940 lm, and a luminaire luminous flux of 310 lm. The luminaire has a lamp-connected wattage of 10 W and a luminous efficiency of 31 lm/W.
Product Usage Instructions
- The installation and operation of this luminaire should be done in compliance with national safety regulations.
- Only a qualified electrician should perform the installation and commissioning of the luminaire.
- The manufacturer does not accept liability for any damage caused by improper use or installation.
- If any modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for the modifications will be considered the manufacturer.
- The electronic components in the luminaire are protected against overvoltage according to DIN EN 61547. For additional protection against transients, it is recommended to use separate overvoltage protection components available on the manufacturer’s website at www.bega.com.
- To replace the LED module, follow these steps:
- Disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
- Refer to the installation instructions for the LED module and follow them carefully.
- If the glass is defective, it should be replaced.
- Close the luminaire after completing the replacement process.
- For spare parts, the LED module with a color temperature of 3000 K can be obtained from the manufacturer.

The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national
safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by
a qualified electrician. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage
caused by improper use or installation. If subsequent modifications are made
to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be
considered the manufacturer.
Overvoltage protection
The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against
overvoltage by DIN EN 61547. To achieve additional protection against e. g.
transients, etc. we recommend separate overvoltage protection components.

Installation
- LEDs are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
- Undo the set screw and lift off the luminaire housing. Loosen LED connection and earth connection (plug connection). Pass the power connecting cable through the cable entry in the mounting plate. Note the position of application of the luminaire “arrow down”.
- Fasten the mounting plate with the supplied fastening material or other suitable fastening material to the installation surface.
- Make an earth conductor connection.
- Push silicone sleeves over the lines and make an electrical connection to the terminal (plug connection).
- Make earth conductor connection between luminaire housing and mounting plate.
- Push the LED plug into the coupler as far as it goes. Install luminaire housing over the mounting plate and tighten the set screw.
Cleaning Maintenance
- Clean the luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt.
Replacement of the LED module
- The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
- The light color and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted.
- The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools.
- Disconnect the system and open the luminaire. Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
- The defective glass must be replaced.
- Close the luminaire.
