Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: To add the firmware version and options, you will need to use the Flash Link Updater or Flash Link Mobile tool. These tools are sold separately.

Step 2: Program the bypass option by following these steps:

1. Locate the unit option labeled “C1” and set it to “A11” (OFF) to program the hood trigger function.

Hood Trigger Function:

The hood trigger is an output status feature that affects the functionality of the vehicle’s flip-key remote during remote start.

Parts Required (Not Included):

• 1x 2 Amp Fuse
• 1x 180 Ohm resistor (for manual transmission vehicles)

Mandatory Installation:

The installation of this product requires the following:

• Hood Pin Contact: The hood pin switch (included) must be installed if the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open. Set function A11 to OFF.
• Security Sticker: This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.

Note: The provided wiring diagram shows the connections at  the ignition switch, OBDII, and other relevant components.

ADDENDUM – SUGGESTED WIRING CONFIGURATION

• BYPASS FIRMWARE VERSION VERSION LOGICIELLE CONTOURNEMENT

To add the firmware version and the options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool,sold separately.

• Program bypass option:

• C1: OEM Remote status (Lock/Unlock) monitoring
• IF THE VEHICLE IS NOT EQUIPPED WITH FUNCTIONAL HOOD PIN:
• A11: Hood trigger (Output Status).
• Program bypass option (If equiped with OEM alarm):
• D2: Unlock before / Lock after (Disarm OEM alarm)
• E5/OFF/NON
• By default DEACTIVATED
• The vehicles Flip-key remote will not be functional during remote start
• Parts required (Not included)
  • 1X 2 Amp Fuse
  • 1X 180 Ohm resistor (Manual transmission)

• HOOD STATUS : THE HOOD PIN SWITCH (INCLUDED) MUST BE INSTALLED IF THE VEHICLE CAN BE REMOTE STARTED WITH THE HOOD OPEN, SET FUNCTION A11 TO OFF

Notice: the installation of safety elements are mandatory. The hood pin and the sticker are essential security elements and must be installed.

THIS MODULE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. A WRONG CONNECTION CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.

DESCRIPTION

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WIRING CONNECTION

MANUAL TRANSMISSION WIRING CONNECTION

DCRYPTOR PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE

Parts required (not included)

• FLASH LINK UPDATER
• FLASH LINK MANAGER
• Microsoft Windows Computer with Internet connection Ordinateur Microsoft Windows avec connection Internet

BEFORE PROGRAMMING SET THE UNIT OPTIONS AND SAVE.

• Press and hold the programming button: Insert the 6-Pin Main connector.
• Release the programming button when the LED is YELLOW.
• If the LED is not solid YELLOW disconnect the 6-Pin connecto (Main-Harness) and go back to step 1
• Insert the required remaining connectors.
• Press and release the programming button five times (5x).
• The YELLOW LED will alternate between 5x flashes and a pause.Wait until the YELLOW LED turns ON.
• Turn the Ignition to the ON/RUN position.
• The RED LED will turns ON.
• The YELLOW LED turns OFF.
• If the LED is not solid RED disconnect the 6-Pin connector (Main-Harness) and go back to step
• Turn the Ignition to the OFF position.
• Remove the key from the ignition barrel.
• Wait 5 seconds.
• Turn the Ignition to the ON position.
• The BLUE LED will turns ON.
• Wait, the BLUE & RED LED will turn OFF.
• Wait, the YELLOW LED will Flash.
• Wait, the YELLOW LED will turn OFF.
• Wait, the BLUE LED will Flash rapidly.
• If the LEDs do not react as shown, disconnect the 6-Pin connector (Main-Harness) and go back to step 1.
• Turn the Ignition to the OFF position. ~ the BLUE LED flash slowly.
• Disconnect all connectors and after the 6-Pin (Main-Harness) or the 4-Pin Data-link connector.
• Use the tool: FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE to visit the DCryptor menu.
• Parts required (not included)
• AFTER DCRYPTOR PROGRAMMING COMPLETED Go back to the vehicle and reconnect the 6-Pin (Main- Harness) or the 4-pins (Data-Link) connector and after all the remaining connector.
• The module is now programmed.

REMOTE STARTER FUNCTIONALITY

• Ready mode is now active, remote start is functional. If one of the doors is open the mode will be disabled.
