INDICATION
The POSITION ER CONE is a product used to assist in the orientation of the
angle of the X-ray unit dental procedure in periodontics, resulting in
standardized radiographic images and sharpness.
Composition: Thermoplastic, nontoxic silicone, and pigment.
Positioner for upper and lower incisors and canine teeth.
Positioner for right upper and left lower molars.
Positioner for left upper and right lower molar.
Note: (x-ray for lower teeth invert the sides of parts 2 and 3).
Positioner for Bite Wings interproximal radiography.
Pot for storage (not autoclavable).

Position
In order to place the piece in the mouth of the patient, the film and the tooth must be in parallel. During the positioning of the upper and posterior teeth, the arc must touch the Front side of the patient. It is noticed that in an x-ray of posterior teeth, the bite is always 1n the area of the anterior teeth. STERILIZATION
For use, the pieces of the kit must be sterilized within a specific package,
such as sterilization pouches, at 121° for 30 minutes. Do not put the pot and
the lid of the kit into the autoclave. Remember: Take the bite device off the
positioner for sterilization. The sterilization is valid For one week if not
packaged. It can also be disinfected using chemical disinfection, For example,
a solution of 0,2% acid peracetic For 1 hour. Then rinse the parts, dry and
store them in a covered jar.
