DESCRIPTION
Impression Bite is an addition silicone with high end hardness. Its surface properties and optimized _shade allow optical registration in CAD/CAM systems for antagonist definition. Impression Bite can be scanned in the scanner and many other CAD/CAM systems.

INDICATION OF USE

  • Antagonist registration.
  • Conventional ~occlusal registers in end occlusal.
  • Facial arch fork veneer.
  • Production of partial models
  • Key material for precision registration

PRESENTATIONS

  1. Package with 2 units of 50 mL double-body cartridge (base paste and catalyst paste) and 12 mixing tips.
  2. Package with 2 units of 50 mL double-body cartridge (base paste and catalyst paste) and & mixing tips

COMPOSITION

Catalyst paste: Silicon Polymers, Vaseline, Silica, Fillers, Titanium Dioxide and Pigments. Base paste: Silicon polymers, Vaseline, Silica, Fillers, Titanium Dioxide and Pigments.

MODE OF USE

  • Visually check for damage before use. Do not use damaged products. To avoid cross contamination, single-use items should be discarded immediately after first use.
  • Before fitting the mixing tip, dispense a small amount of material from the 50 mL cartridges. After use, leave the mixing tip as a cap on the cartridge.
  • Immediately before the next use, remove the mixing tip and insert a new one. «Contact of polyvinylsiloxane-based occlusal registration materials with latex gloves, gingival detachment Solutions or recent composite resin restorations will alter polymerization. «Impression Bite should be at room temperature when it is used (23 °C / 73 °F). Low temperatures can extend the working time, while higher temperatures can shorten it, for example when materials are stored in a refrigerator.
  • Polymerized polyvinylsiloxanes are chemically resistant. Clothing may stain permanently if it comes in contact with material that is not completely polymerized.
  • Silicone Bite is used with the Mixing Tip :).

Loading and Operating the Fluid Material Dispenser/Application Pistol:

  • Position _Impression Bite on the Dispenser/Pistol. Close the cartridge retainer positioned at the top of the Dispenser.
  • Before proceeding with the application, check that both openings of the cartridge are not clogged. Dispense a small amount of molding material until the base and catalyst pastes emerge simultaneously and evenly, and then attach a mixing tip to the cartridge.
  • Ensure that the base paste and catalyst paste are thoroughly mixed and that the dispensed paste is uniform in color. Do not force the polymerized material out of the mixing tip.
  • Excessive force may damage the cartridge and mixing tip, resulting in material spillage.
  • Remove the unpolymerized paste with a cloth soaked in alcohol.

Note : After application, keep the used cannula in the cartridge, to serve as a cap.

  • To remove the cartridge, press up the lever used at the rear of the Dispenser/Pistol and pull the slide head all the way back. Pull the plastic latch upward and remove the cartridge. Impression Bite Application
  • Apply Impression Bite directly to the occlusal surfaces, If necessary, apply first to prepared areas. The working time is 30s. Note: It is usually sufficient to apply the material on the upper and lower teeth. In the area of the lower teeth, it is recommended to apply the material to both arches. A layer of material approximately 5 mm thick should be sufficient.
  • Let the patient assume the intended occlusion.
  • After 1 min 30 s carefully remove the bite record from the mouth.

Process the Bite Index
The material has a high final hardness and can be processed with a rotary instrument. Immediately after removal, excess material can be removed with a scalpel.

  • Remove excess product, which goes beyond the molded chewing surface areas.
  • Remove excess material from proximal areas.

Disinfection:

  • For_ disinfection of Impression Bite use disinfectant solutions suitable for silicones, following the manufacturer’s processing and disinfection instructions.

WARNINGS

  • In case of allergy, discontinue use immediately and advise the patient to seek medical attention.
  • Wear mask and procedure gloves when handling the product.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes. Wear protective goggles when handing ~the product. In case of contact, wash immediately with plenty of water. If necessary, consult a physician.
  • Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with the skin. In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with plenty of water. If necessary, consult a physician.
  • Avoid ingestion. Wash hands after handling and before eating.
  • Do not inhale, swallow or ingest. If health problems arise after ingestion of the impression material, contact a physician immediately.
  • In rare cases, intestinal obstruction may occur. Consult a doctor immediately if the productids inhaled.
  • Do notelike residual material in grooves or oral cavity.
  • Use in awell-ventilated area.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

PRECAUTIONS

  • The product is indicated for professional use only.
  • Polyvinylsiloxane molding pastes cannot be combined with condensation silicones or polyether-based molding materials. Even minimal amounts may affect the setting reaction.
  • Disposable latex gloves inhibit the setting of silicone molding pastes. Vinyl gloves are therefore more suitable.
  • The moldings must not under any circumstances come into contact with liquids containing solvents. This could result in deformation (expansion) and distortion of the models.
  • Prevent contamination of Impression Bite or contact surfaces chemical compounds that may inhibit or delay its setting, such as residues of acrylates and methacrylate’s, latex rubbers and sulfur-containing compounds.
  • Completely remove the oxygen-in hi ting layer of composite resins (e restorations or core fillings) as this may affect or delay the setting of silicone impression pastes.
  • Retain the mixing tip with polymerized material in the cartridge until its next use. Removal and replacement of a used mixing tip may lead to paste transfer and subsequent clogging.
  • Do not use the product after its expiration date. For disposal, follow the legislation of your country. Do not reuse empty packaging.

CCONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Do not use Impression Bite in patients with _hypersensitivity to the product components.
  • Impression Bite should not be used for conventional impressions as its high final hardness makes its oral removal very ifficult. It may result in unwanted exodon- tia.

ADVERSE EFFECT
Until now, no adverse effects of the product have been identified. No side effects are expected if the product is used according to instructions.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

  • Store the product in its packaging and in a clean, dry place.
  • Do not expose the product to high temperatures. Store it at room temperate- re up to 25 °C/ 77 °F under relative humid- ty maximum 80%.

VALIDITY
The expiration date on the packaging represents the maximum time the product can be used. Do not use after the expiration date.
