Product Usage Instructions
Installation and Wiring Connections:
- Tachometer: Connect to RS12 (+/-)
- Ground Out While Running: Connect to RS14 (-)
- Data-Link Connection (Always Required): Directly connect RS7b (OUT) to RS7a (OUT)
- Starter Connections: Connect RS6 (IN/OUT) to Starter1 (+) andRS6 (IN/OUT) to Starter2 (+)
- Ignition Connection: Connect RS5 (OUT) to Ignition (+)
- Accessory Connection: Connect RS3 (OUT) to Accessory (+)
- Parking Lights Connection: Connect RS2 (IN) to Parking Lights (-
- 12V Battery Connection: Connect RS1 (Ground/Masse) to 12V Battery (+)
- PATS Data Connections:
- Connect Dk. Blue to A1 (OUT) and Yellow to A2 (IN)
- Connect White/Black to A3 (OUT) and Red/Blue to A4 (IN)
- Connect Lt.Blue/Black to A5 (IN/OUT) and Lt.Blue to A6 (IN/OUT)
- Security LED Connections:
- Connect White/Green to D1
- Connect White/Blue to D2
- Connect White/Red to D3
Programming the Transponder Bypass:
- Press and hold the programming button on the module. Insert the 4-Pin (Data-Link Connector) connector.
- The LED will alternate between YELLOW and RED.
- Release the programming button when the LED turns solid RED.
- If the LED is not solid RED, disconnect the 4 Pin connector (Data-Link Connector) and repeat from step 1.
Testing and Finalization:
- Press and release the programming button 4 times (4x).
- The RED LED will flash 3 times and pause.
- Turn the Ignition to the ON/RUN position.
- The RED LED will flash rapidly 10 times, indicating successful key bypass programming.
- Turn the Ignition OFF.
- The module is now programmed. Use the remote of the remotestarter or security system to test all of the supported features to ensure proper programming.
Important Note:
It is recommended to update the module to the latest firmware version and download the latest installation guide from the manufacturer’s website before installing this product. Updated firmware and installation guides are regularly posted on the website.
REGULAR INSTALLATION
- To add the firmware version and the options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool, sold separately.
WIRING CONNECTION
PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE
- Press and hold Insert the programming button: the 4-Pin (Data-Link Connector) connector.
- The LED will alternate between YELLOW and RED.
- Release the programming button when the LED is RED.
- If the LED is not solid RED disconnect the 4 Pin connector (Data-Link Connector) and go back to step 1
- Insert the required remaining connectors.
- Press and release the programming button 4 times (4x).
- The RED LED will flash 3 times and pause.
- Turn the Ignition to the ON/RUN position.
- The RED LED will flash rapidly 10x times. Key bypass programmed
- Turn the Ignition OFF.
The module is now programmed.
Use the remote of the remote starter or security system to test all of the supported features to ensure proper programming.
