Product Usage Instructions

Mandatory Installation
To ensure proper installation and functionality, the following steps must be followed:

1. Install the HOOD PIN CONTACT DE CAPOT switch.
2. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set FUNCTION A11 to OFF.
3. Note: The installation of safety elements is mandatory. The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed.
4. This module must be installed by a qualified technician. A wrong connection can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.

Program Bypass Option
To program the bypass option, follow the steps below:

1. If the vehicle is not equipped with a functional hood pin, program the bypass option (Vehicle diesel only) by setting A11 to OFF.
2. For OEM Remote Stand Alone Remote Starter, program the bypass option with UNIT OPTION D1.10.
3. For OEM Remote Stand Alone Remote Starter with RF KIT antenna, program the bypass option with UNIT OPTION D1.1.

Remote Starter Diagnostics
The module’s red LED (DEL ROUGE DU MODULE) provides diagnostic information through flashing patterns:

• 3x flash: No tach
• 4x flash: Ignition
• 5x flash: Hood Open

COMPATIBLITY

ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION VEHICLES.

NOTES
The vehicles OEM remote will remain functional when the vehicle is running, however, the intelligent access key will not unlock the doors when the vehicle is running.

MANDATORY INSTALL

HOOD STATUS : THE HOOD PIN SWITCH MUST BE INSTALLED IF THE VEHICLE CAN BE REMOTE STARTED WITH THE HOOD OPEN, SET FUNCTION A11 TO OFF.
