Product Usage Instructions

1. To add the firmware version and options, you will need to use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool, which are sold separately.
2. To program the bypass option, follow these steps:
3. Ensure that the vehicle does not have a functional hood pin installed.
4. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set the function A11 to OFF.
5. It is mandatory to install the hood pin switch (included) if the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open. Failure to do so may result in permanent damage to the vehicle.
6. Make sure to follow the provided wiring connections guide for proper installation.
7. This product must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect connections can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.

REGULAR & THAR-FOR2 INSTALLATION

**MANDATORY INSTALL

• HOOD PIN
  HOOD STATUS :** THE HOOD PIN SWITCH MUST BE INSTALLED IF THE VEHICLE CAN BE REMOTE STARTED WITH THE HOOD OPEN, SET FUNCTION A11 TO OFF.

Notice: the installation of safety elements are mandatory. The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed.
THIS MODULE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. A WRONG CONNECTION CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.

**DCRYPTOR PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE

1x FLASH LINK MANAGER
SOFTWARE | PROGRAMME
Microsoft Windows Computer with Internet connection Ordinateur Microsoft Windows avec connection Internet

1x FLASH LINK MOBILE
1x FLASH LINK MOBILE APP
Smartphone AndroId or iOS with Internet connection (provider charges may apply).

1. Press and hold the programming button: Insert the 6-Pin Main connector.  Press and hold the programming button: Connect the 4-PIN Data-link harness (Black connector).  The LEDs will alternate between BLUE, RED, YELLOW & BLUE/RED flashes.

2. Release the programming button when the LED’s are RED and BLUE. If the LEDs are not solid BLUE and RED the 6- Pin connector (Main- Harness) and go back to step 1. If the BLUE and RED LED are not ON solid disconnect the 4-PIN Data-link harness (Black connector) and go back to step 1.

3. Insert the required remaining connectors.

4. Press and release the programming button eight (8x) times.

5. The RED and BLUE LED’s will alternate between 7 flashes and a pause. Wait,

6. The RED and BLUE LED’s will turn ON solid

7. KEY#1

8. Press and release the programming button once

9. The BLUE LED will turn OFF.
   The vehicle’s ignition will turn ON

10. The RED LED will stay ON.
    The vehicle’s ignition will turn OFF.

11. The RED LED will turn OFF then ON solid

12. Press and release the programming button once.
    The vehicle’s ignition will turn ON.

13. The YELLOW LED will turn ON solid.
    The vehicle’s ignition will turn OFF.

14. The RED and YELLOW LED’s will turns OFF then ON solid.

15. Wait, The vehicle’s ignition will turn ON.

16. The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.
    The vehicle’s ignition will turn OFF.

17. The RED and YELLOW LED’s will alternated.

18. Disconnect all connectors and after the 6-Pin (Main-Harness) or the 4-Pin Data-link connector.

19. Use the tool: FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE to visit the DCryptor menu

20. AFTER DCRYPTOR PROGRAMMING COMPLETED
    Go back to the vehicle and reconnect the 6-Pin (Main- Harness) or the 4-pins (Data-Link) connector and after all the remaining connector.

21. Turn the key to the  Ignition ON/RUN position

22. The YELLOW LED will turn ON. Wait, at least 5 seconds, do not disconnect the modules or turn off the ignition.

23. The YELLOW LED is still ON.

24. Turn the key to the OFF position.

25. The YELLOW will turn OFF.

The module is now programmed.

REMOTE STARTER / ALARM VERIFICATION
Test the remote starter. Remote start the vehicle.

REMOTE STARTER PROGRAMMING

REFER TO THE QUICK INSTALL GUIDE INCLUDED WITH THE MODULE FOR THE REMOTE STARTER PROGRAMMING.

REMOTE STARTER FUNCTIONALITY

• All doors must be closed.
• Remote start the vehicle.
• Unlock the doors with the remote-starter remote or the OEM remote.
• Insert and Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position.
• Press the brake pedal.
• The vehicle can now be put in to gear and driven.

If the vehicle is not unlocked with one of these conditions the remote-starter will shut down as soon as any door is opened.
