Product Information

The product is an immobilizer bypass system designed for Ford Transit vehicles without keyless entry. It allows for the bypassing of the vehicle’s immobilizer system and provides various functionalities such as lock, unlock, arm, disarm, RAP disable, tachometer, door status, trunk status, hood status, hand-brake status, foot-brake status, and active OEM remote start. The firmware version of the product is 71.[52].

Product Usage Instructions

To add the firmware version and options, you will need to use either the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool, which are sold separately. These tools allow for the programming of bypass options. If your vehicle is not equipped with a functional hood pin, you will need to install one. The hood pin switch is a mandatory safety element. If your vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, you need to set function A11 to OFF.

It is important to note that the installation of safety elements, such as the hood pin, is mandatory. This module should be installed by a qualified technician to avoid any permanent damage to the vehicle. The product package includes a FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool, depending on your preference. For the FLASH LINK UPDATER, you will need a Microsoft Windows computer with an internet connection. Alternatively, you can use FLASH LINK MOBILE with a smartphone (Android or iOS) with an internet connection (provider charges may apply).There are different options for program bypass depending on your needs. You can program the bypass option with OEM remote start or with an RF KIT antenna. The product also provides remote starter diagnostics through LED indicators. The red LED on the module will flash a certain number of times to indicate the status, such as no tach, ignition, or hood open. It is recommended to cut the warning card provided and stick it on a visible place or use the package RSPB (sold separately). The warning card reminds you that the vehicle can be started by pressing the lock button on the OEM remote three times consecutively or by using a smartphone. It also advises turning on the safety switch located under the dashboard before working on the vehicle. The package includes a THAR-FOR2 harness, vehicle keys for programming, a diode, and a relay.

• HOOD PIN
  HOOD STATUS :** THE HOOD PIN SWITCH MUST BE INSTALLED IF THE VEHICLE CAN BE REMOTE STARTED WITH THE HOOD OPEN, SET FUNCTION A11 TO OFF.

Notice: the installation of safety elements are mandatory. The hood pin is an essential security element and must be installed.
THIS MODULE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. A WRONG CONNECTION CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.

STAND ALONE CONFIGURATION

REMOTE STARTER FUNCTIONALITY

• All doors must be closed.
• Press the OEM remote’s Lock button 3x to remote-start (or remote-stop) the vehicle.
• The vehicle will START.

CUT THIS WARNING CARD AND STICK IT ON A VISIBLE PLACE: or use the package RSPB, Sold separately.

THE VEHICLE CAN BE STARTED BY EITHER: PRESSING THE LOCK BUTTON ON THE OEM REMOTE 3 TIMES CONSECUTIVELY OR BY A SMARTPHONE. TURN ON THE SAFETY SWITCH LOCATED UNDER THE DASHBOARD BEFORE WORKING ON THE VEHICLE.

1. Press and hold Insert the programming button: the 4-Pin (Data-Link) connector

2. The Blue, Red, Yellow and Blue & Red LED’s will alternatively illuminate

3. Release the programming button when the LED’s are RED and BLUE. If the LED’s are not solid BLUE and RED the 4- Pin connector (Data-Link) and go back to step 1.

4. Insert the required remaining connectors.

5. Press and release the programming button eight (8x) times.

6. The RED and BLUE LED’s will alternate between 7 flashes and a pause.
   Wait,

7. The RED and BLUE LED’s will turn ON solid.

8. KEY#1

9. Press and release the programming button once.

10. The BLUE LED will turn OFF.
    The vehicle’s ignition will turn ON.

11. The RED LED will stay ON.
    The vehicle’s ignition will turn OFF.

12. The RED LED will turn OFF then ON solid.

13. Press and release the programming button once. The vehicle’s ignition will turn ON

14. The YELLOW LED will turn ON solid.
    The vehicle’s ignition will turn OFF.

15. The RED and YELLOW LED’s will turns OFF then ON solid.

16. Wait, The vehicle’s ignition will turn ON.

17. The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.
    The vehicle’s ignition will turn OFF.

18. The RED and YELLOW LED’s will alternated.

19. Disconnect all the connectors and after the Data-Link (4-pins) connector

20. Use the tool: FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE to visit the DCryptor menu

21. AFTER DCRYPTOR PROGRAMMING COMPLETED Go back to the vehicle and reconnect the 4-Pin (Data-Link) connector and after, all the remaining connector

22. Turn the key to the  Ignition ON/RUN position.

23. The YELLOW LED will turn ON.
    Wait, at least 5 seconds, do not disconnect the modules or turn off the ignition.

24. The YELLOW LED is still ON.

25. Turn the key to the OFF position
    The YELLOW will turn OFF.

The module is now programmed.
REMOTE STARTER / ALARM VERIFICATION
Test the remote starter. Remote start the vehicle.

OPTIONAL RF-KIT PROGRAMMING

OPTIONAL FORTIN RF KIT SERIES 4 OR SERIES 9 PROGRAMMING

REMOTE STARTER FUNCTIONALITY

• All doors must be closed.
• Remote start the vehicle.
• Unlock the doors with the remote-starter remote or the OEM remote.
• Insert and Turn the key to the Ignition ON/RUN position.
• Press the brake pedal.
• The vehicle can now be put in to gear and driven.
