Product Information
The product is an electrical fixture with the item number 2431-84/878. It is designed for mounting on a junction box and comes with all the necessary parts for installation, including a circular strap, mounting screws, ground screw, finials, metal ring, glass shade, and socket cup. The fixture supports a medium base (E26) bulb up to 60 watts or CFL/LED equivalent (not included). It is important to note that the maximum wattage rating should not be exceeded.
Product Usage Instructions
Before starting the installation process, please ensure that the power is shut off at the fuse box or circuit breaker to prevent any electrical hazards.
- Remove the old fixture, along with its mounting hardware, by shutting off power and carefully unpacking the new fixture.
- Lay out all the parts on a clean area and make sure not to lose any small parts required for installation.
- Thread the mounting screws into the pre-drilled holes in the circular strap, spacing them the same distance apart as the holes in the back plate. Tighten them with nuts. Adjust the length of the mounting screws if necessary.
- Attach the circular strap to a junction box using the provided junction box screws. Ensure that the side of the circular strap marked GND faces out.
- Connect the electrical wires according to Fig.2. Secure all wire connectors and, if available, connect the fixture’s ground wire to the junction box’s ground wire. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the circular strap using the green screw provided.
- Tuck the wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
- Place the back plate onto the mounting screws and secure it with finials.
- Unscrew the metal ring and place the glass shade onto the socket cup. Secure the glass shade with the metal ring.
- Install a medium base (E26) bulb up to 60 watts or CFL/LED equivalent, following the fixture’s specifications. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
- Once the installation is complete, restore power to the junction box and test the fixture.

Installation Instructions
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1)
- Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
- Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clean area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.
- Thread mounting screws (B) into pre-drilled holes in circular strap (G) spaced same distance apart as holes in back plate and tighten with nuts (E). The length of mounting screws (B) may be adjusted if necessary.
- Attach circular strap (G) to junction box (not included) using junction box screws (D). The side of circular strap marked “GND” must face out.
- CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig.2)
- Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig.2, making sure that all wire connectors (C) are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the circular strap (G) using the green screw provided.
- Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
- FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig.1)
- Place back plate onto mounting screws (B) and secure with finials (A).
- Unscrew metal ring (F) and place glass shade (I) onto socket cup (H). Secure glass shade (I) with metal ring (F).
- Install (1) one medium base (E26) bulb up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!).
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
