Firmware Version: 72.[48] Unit Option: C1, D6, A11
Description: This product is a push-to-start system designed for Nissan
Maxima vehicles manufactured between 2009 and 2014. It requires firmware
version 72.[48] for proper functionality.
Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the vehicle is equipped with a functional hood pin. If not, follow the instructions below.
- If the vehicle does not have a functional hood pin, set function A11 to OFF using the provided tool (FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE, sold separately).
- It is mandatory to install the hood pin for proper operation and safety. The hood pin switch must be installed.
- Make sure to install this module by a qualified technician to avoid any wrong connections that may cause permanent damage to the vehicle.
- Refer to the wiring connections guide provided in the manual for proper installation of various components like hood pin contact, ignition, brake switch, door pins, etc.
- Follow the color-coded instructions for connecting wires to their respective terminals.
- If using a data-link connection, always ensure a direct connection is made.
- Refer to the provided diagram for specific wire connections.
- Use the specified diode and fuse for additional protection.
Note : For firmware updates and additional options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately).

MANDATORY INSTALL
HOOD STATUS : THE HOOD PIN SWITCH MUST BE INSTALLED IF THE VEHICLE CAN BE
REMOTE STARTED WITH THE HOOD OPEN, SET FUNCTION A11 TO OFF.
Notice: the installation of safety elements are mandatory. The hood pin
is an essential security element and must be installed
THIS MODULE MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. A WRONG CONNECTION
CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.
DESCRIPTION
- Key Port lower dash Left of steering column
- At brake switch
- OBDII connector
- Push-to-Start button
- Behind cluster
- Driver kick panel
**WIRING CONNECTION
**
KEY BYPASS PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE
Insert the key in to the key port.
-
Press and hold the programming button:Connect the 4-PIN Data-link harness (Black connector).
The Blue, Red, Yellow and Blue & Red LEDs will alternatively illuminate -
Release the programming button when the LED is YELLOW.
If the LED is not solid YELLOW disconnect the 4-Pin connector (Main-Harness) and go back to step 1 -
Insert the required remaining connectors.

Press and release the programming button two (2x) times.

The YELLOW LED will flash 2 times each second.

WAIT for the YELLOW LED to turn ON solide

Press and release the Push-to-Start button once (x1).

The RED LED will turns ON

Wait for the BLUE LED to turn ON.
If the BLUE, YELLOW and RED LED’s are not solid, press and release the PTS button twice to turn OFF the engine and then press and release the PTS button once again to turn the Accessory ON.
Repeat this step until the BLUE, YELLOW and RED LED’s are solid.

Press and release the Push-to-Start button once (x1) to turn On ignition.

Wait for the BLUE LED to flash rapidly.

Press and release the Push-to-

Start button once to shut off the ignition.

Press and release the Push-to-
-
Start button twice to turn ON the ignition.

The BLUE, YELLOW and RED LED’s will rapidly alternate.

Press and release the Push-to- Start button once to shut off the ignition
REMOTE STARTER FUNCTIONALITY
If the vehicle is not unlocked with one of these conditions the remote-starter will shut down as soon as any door is opened.
