ATTENTION Receiving Department: Note actual fixture description of any shortage or noticeable damage on delivery receipt. File claim for common carrier (LTL) directly with carrier. Claims for concealed damage must be filed within 15 days of delivery. All damaged material, complete with original packing must be retained.

INSTALLATION

  1. Optimize cove design detials.
    Note: To optimize cove lighting, cove design must be optimized

  2. Plan run lengths and power drops per run length specifications below:

  3. Unpack fixtures, cables, and mounting hardware from boxes.
    Note: All installations require a beginning of run power cord with custom connector and junction box supplied by Eaton. Line voltage power supply line supplied by others. If your installation calls for the jumper cable accessory to add space between fixtures, make sure they are available.

  4. Prepare beginning or run for line voltage input by removing top screws to open junction box wiring compartment. Remove hole cover of desired feed location and feed line voltage power lead cable (by others) through hole. Trim power feed to desired length. Connect power lead cable and input driver wiring to female connector wires via wire nuts in accordance with wiring chart in Table 2 below. Green ground screw must be connected for safe operation.
    Note: Minimum of 18 AWG power lead cable wires to be used.

Fixture must utilize a green Pigtail or a Green Through Wire for grounding.

  1. Close junction box by tightening top screws.

  2. If mounting angle is desired, place proper degree mounting under the clip before securing mounting clips.

  3. Secure mounting clips with 2 screws in straight line at least 2” from wall for optimal cove lighting.

  4. Snap male connector from beginning of run power feed into female connector of the first fixture in the run. Self closing cap of female connector must be opened for connection. Connector must “click” to ensure complete, proper connection
    To disconnect, squeeze the silver tab on the male connector pull apart fixtures.

  5. Mountings are designed to span between fixtures to assure alingnment between fixtures within the cove. Connectors have 2” standoffs to align with the cove wall and optimize cove lighting performance

  6. Install fixture into mounting by making sure mounting channel in the bottom of the fixture engages with the mounting clip.
    Fixture can then be rotated into place making sure the top clip engages in the upper mounting channel to secure fixture in any orientation.
