Product description
Outdoor Doorbell
Remove the battery
Loosen the screws and take out the rechargeable battery
Install the battery
Insert the rechargeable battery, tighten the screws Note:
You should tighten screws before use, since the bad contact of the battery
will cause the device not work properly.
Note:
- At standby mode, the screen is only off, but the indoor monitor is still working and will continue to consume power. It is recommended to plug the adapter for the monitor all the time for better use.
- The connection is wireless between the monitor and the doorbell, no need any cable.
- TF card capacity up to 128G.

Installation position
Note
Avoid camera from direct sunshine. At darkness. if camera is intensely
illuminated by street light or light-emitting object, installing lamp near to
doorbell is needed to enhance camera imaging.
Doorbell camera installation
- Drill 4 holes on wall to fix the mount bracket. (Or use 3M super glue to fix the bracket)
- Secure the bracket on wall with screws
- Fix doorbell camera on the bracket
- Fix screw on the left side to secure the doorbell camera
APP download
- Download: Search TuyaSmart in the mobile app store to download and install the app.
- Registration: Users use email to register.
- Before login, IOS users should select the correct location inside China or outside China.

*If cannot find the APP in the app store please use your browser to scan the QR code to download it.
Share device via Home Management
Note: One screen can be only paired with only one app account directly, but the device can be shared to other accounts through app.
- Step 1: Me – Home Management – Create a home (Setting a Home Name)
- Step 2: Add member (Enter member’s TUYA account)
- Step 3: Choose the home and Add Device.
Configure WiFi and add device to APP
- Indoor touch screen pair with “TuyaSmart” app
- Power supply the indoor screen monitor, it will turn on automatically.
- Select “Display”-“WLAN”, go to WIFI setting interface.
- Open “WLAN”, click “Add network” go to WIFI searching interface.
- Choose your smart phone used WIFI, and input the password, then press “connect”
- After setting successfully, back to WIFI setting interface,it will obtain the IP address.
- Click “Add Device” on TuyaSmart app
- App enter to adding device interface and click scan button to scan the QR code on the screen monitor.
- Press the done button on top right corner of the app, adding completed.
Configure WiFi for the monitor (Note: 2.4G & 5G WiFi is supported)
- Click “+” –Scan
- In scan page, scan the QR code on the monitor, the device will be added after scan successfully
- Add complete
Attention:
- One screen can be only paired with only one app account directly, but the device can be shared to other accounts through app.
- If need to reset the indoor screen, press “Display” and go to “About ” page to enter device information menu, select Reset factory setting and confirm, the monitor will be reset, all values will return to factory setting, the device will be offline on the ann
Function introduction
- Playback: Play the recorded files saved on SD card.
- Gallery: Play the manual recorded files saved on mobile phone.
- Theme color: Light mode / Dark mode
- PIR: Turn on / off PIR function, set sensitivity, low / Medium / High
- Lock: Open the lock / Close the lock
Push notification setting
If visitor make call from outdoor doorbell, smart phone app will receive call
notification, you can answer the call, and the video will be stored in TF
card. If not answer the call, it will automatically end after 30 seconds.

After activating the function, the screen will show a human symbol. If outdoor
camera detect movement, smart phone app will receive motion detection
notification and indoor monitor will show the live video.

Flip to check the videos;
Press *Unlock record” can check the unlock records.
Live videoPress “camera ” on screen enter to camera interface, then press the PLAY icon, you can see live video of outdoor doorbell. Press the ANSWER icon to active the microphone then can talk to doorbell camera.If visitor make call from outdoor camera indoor screen will ring and show live video. Press the ANSWER icon to active the microphone then can talk to doorbell camera .
AC/DC wiring instruction
- Put the wiring board into the corresponding AC/DC hole on the back of the video doorbell, and then fix the screws.
- Use the matching push-type quick-connect terminal, keep one end pressed down, insert the wires of the terminal block individually and release.
- The other end also remains pressed down to connect to the external power supply, regardless of positive and negative pole, just connect to the terminal then release. Please note that the external power supply AC: 8-24V, DC: 8-36V.
- Connect the holes to the terminal board and fix the screws
- Press and hold one end of the terminal block and connect the wires to the ports
- Press and hold the other end of the terminal, regardless of positive and negative, connect the cable of the external power supply to the port.
Unlock module diagram
In intercom or monitoring status press unlock button can open lock for visitor.
Caution:
The unlock module already paired with the device in factory, no need to pair
again. If prompt not paired, please confirm with your after sales service and
refer the below operation.
- Please wire the lock with the Unlock module as per the diagram, then connect to electricity power supply.
- Long press the pair button on unlock module for around 5 seconds till the end light tinkle.
- Indoor display in monitoring status, press the unlock button to open lock, the lock is unlocked and the unlock module will sound “di”, prompt pairing successfully.
After pairing successfully, you can set the unlock time, default unlock time is 1 second.
Press one time the button on the unlock module, red indicator light slowly twinkle three times, set unlock time 3 seconds.
Press one time again, the button on the unlock module, indicator light slowly twinkle five times, set unlock time 5 seconds.
Press the button on time again, indicator light slowly twinkle eight times, set unlock time 8 seconds.

Precaution
- Leave the product away from strong magnetic field.
- Do not spray water or other liquid to the product.
- Do not heavily hit the product.
- Leave it away from direct-sun exposure and strong reflected light.
- Do not install the product near to the place with ammonia or toxic gas
- No disassemble the product because high voltage current exist inside it.
- Do not wipe the product with detergent or other chemical solvent.
- Do not disassemble the devices in case of failure. Please repair it at your local maintenance locations or direct contact our after sale customer service.
Trouble shooting

No notification to phone app after making a call
- (a) check whether the indoor screen paired with the outdoor camera and whether paired with the app.
- (b). Check whether notification permission to APP is allowed on mobile phone setting
- (c). Check whether opened the notification in APP setting.

Smart phone no sound in intercom mode
- (a). Check whether mobile allows APP to access microphone and record audio.
- (b). Check whether the microphone of the doorbell camera is blocked up.

App showing gateway off line
- (a). Please check whether smartphone connect WIFI or 4G or 5G net.
- (b). Check indoor screen whether connect WIFI or please restart the screen machine.

Indoor screen no response or no ringtone after making a call
- (a). Check “Settings – Subdevice” if indoor screen paired with outdoor camera.
- (b). Check “Settings-Ring” if turned of the ringtone.
- (c). Check if the signal between indoor screen and outdoor camera is interfered or exceeded the applicable distance.

No voice in indoor display during communication
- (a). Check if indoor display microphone is blocked up.
- (b). Check if outdoor camera microphone is blocked up.
- (c). Check if volume is turned off in volume setting.
