Product Information

Product Description	This luminaire is a high-quality LED lighting fixture.
Safety	The installation and operation of this luminaire must comply

with national safety regulations. Only a qualified electrician
should carry out the installation and commissioning. The
manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper use or
installation. If any modifications are made, the person responsible
for them will be considered the manufacturer.
Overvoltage Protection| The electronic components in the luminaire are protected
against overvoltage according to DIN EN 61547. Additional
protection against transients and other voltage spikes is
recommended using separate overvoltage protection components
available on our website at www.bega.com.
Installation| During installation or relamping, avoid direct contact with the
light output opening of the LED. Clean the luminaire regularly
using solvent-free cleansers to remove dirt.
Replacing the LED Module| The designation of the LED module can be found on a label
inside the luminaire. Replacement modules from BEGA have the same
light color and output as the original modules. Qualified
individuals can replace the module using standard tools. Before
replacing, disconnect the electrical installation, open the
luminaire, and follow the installation instructions for the LED
module. Close the luminaire after replacing.

Product Usage Instructions

Ensure compliance with national safety regulations during installation and operation.
Only a qualified electrician should perform the installation and commissioning.
Avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
Regularly clean the luminaire using solvent-free cleansers to remove dirt.
If modifications are made, the responsible person will be considered the manufacturer.
If additional protection against transients and voltage spikes is desired, use separate overvoltage protection components available on the BEGA website at www.bega.com.
When replacing the LED module:
Disconnect the electrical installation.
Open the luminaire.
Find the designation of the LED module on a label inside the luminaire.
Obtain a replacement module from BEGA with matching light color and output.
Follow the installation instructions provided for the LED module.
Close the luminaire after replacing the module.

The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or installation. If subsequent modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be considered the manufacturer.

Installation

LED are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping. Remove mounting plate from the luminaire housing. Unplug the earth conductor connection (plug contact).

Please note:
If the luminaire is to be mounted onto a metallic, electroconductive surface, it is mandatory to make sure that the mounting surface is connected conductive to the earth conductor of the luminaire! Lead the power connecting cable through the mounting plate. Fix the mounting plate with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface. Make earth conductor connection. Push silicone sleeves over the lines and make electrical connection. The two connecting terminals marked DA, DA are provided for digital control purposes. If these terminals are not assigned, the luminaire will work with full light output. Establish the earth conductor connection to the luminaire housing (plug contact). Press the luminaire housing firmly against the mounting plate and turn it clockwise firmly against the stop. Screw enclosed trim ring with attached reflector into the luminaire housing by turning it clockwise.

Cleaning · Maintenance

Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt.

Replacing the LED module

The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire. The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted. The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools. Disconnect the electrical installation. Open the luminaire. Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module. Close the luminaire.
