Warning

The timer has no internal battery, please plug it into a live outlet to set it. To avoid electric shock or injury, please read the “Safety Information” carefully before using the timer.

Safety Information

  1. For optimum performance of water proof, please install the timer vertically and at least 2 ft above the ground.
  2. DO NOT overload wall outlets, extension cords, or power strips as this can cause danger.
  3. The total power of the appliances connected to the timer must NOT exceed the maximum rating of the timer.
  4. DO NOT allow children to operate this timer and keep children away from it.
  5. DO NOT disassemble or repair the product under any circumstance.

Product Overview

  1. LCD Display
  2. Power Indicator Light: LED on when there is power, off when no power
  3. LIGHT SENSOR: for best performance, make sure not to cover or shield the LIGHT SENSOR
  4. RUN TIME: short press to set the on time, or repeatedly press it 3 times to be always on
  5. OFF TIME: short press to set the off time, or repeatedly press it 3 times to be always off
  6. : during time setting, to move the cursor left to right; during running of interval cycle mode, short press to review the on and off time you set
  7. : during time setting, press to increase the number or move the cursor up to select S/M/H
  8. : during time setting, press to decrease the number or move the cursor down to select S/M/H
  9. CONFRIM: press it to confirm the run time and off time to start the interval cycle mode

Use of Key Combinations

a. + : during time setting, press the two buttons together to clear the setting, or press them again to recover
b. + CONFRIM: press the two buttons together to change between 24 Hour mode(default mode), DAY ONLY mode, and NIGHT ONLY mode
c.  + CONFRIM: press the two buttons together to lock or unlock the buttons
d.  + CONFRIM: press the two buttons together to deactivate or activate the buzzer for buttons

Functions and Settings

The timer has a total of 9 functions. Only one function can be used at a time. Please refer to the corresponding instructions to set your own timer to meet your needs.

Function-1. Infinite Interval Cycle

e.g., 10 minutes on and 1 hour off, and keeps running like this continuously

Infinite Interval Cycle

  1. Plug the timer into a live outlet, and press the RUN TIME button to begin setting the on time.
  2. Press to move the cursor left to right, and press / to adjust the digits and select the unit of time.
  3. When the run time is finished, press “CONFIRM” or “OFF TIME” to begin setting the off time.
  4. Press to move the cursor left to right, and press / to adjust the digits and select the unit of time.
  5. When the on time and off time are finished, press CONFIRM to activate the timing program.

Function-2. Interval Cycle Only in the Day Time (Cycle from Dawn to Dusk)

e.g., timer comes on every day at dawn, repeats the cycle “10 minutes on and 1 hour off”, goes off at dusk and remains completely off until dawn the next day

Set the “10 minutes on and 1 hour off” infinite interval cycle following the instructions for “Function-1”; DO remember to press CONFRIM to activate the setting in the end. Press + CONFIRM together to change the light sensor to DAY ONLY.
The timer will then repeat the interval cycle only when there is light(screen displays as FIGURE 1), and it will go off and remain off when there is no light(screen displays as FIGURE 2).

*PLEASE NOTE:

  1. The light sensor has a 12-minute anti-interference delay. For example, let’s say there is enough light and the timer is repeating the interval cycle in the DAY ONLY mode(screen displays as FIGURE 1), if you cover the light sensor on purpose to test its sensitivity, the timer will still keep repeating the interval cycle for about 12 minutes, and then judge that it is at night and stop running completely(screen displays as FIGURE 2).
  2. To test the sensitivity of the light sensor, please unplug the timer from the live outlet first, and then cover or provide light on to the light sensor, and finally re-plug the timer into a live outlet again.

Function-3. Interval Cycle Only at Night (Cycle from Dusk to Dawn)

e.g., timer comes on every day at dusk, repeats the cycle “10 minutes on and 1 hour off”, goes off at dawn the next day and remains completely off until dusk

Set the “10 minutes on and 1 hour off” infinite interval cycle following the instructions for “Function-1”; DO remember to press CONFRIM to activate the setting in the end. Press + CONFIRM together to change the Light Sensor to NIGHT ONLY.
The timer will then repeat the interval cycle only when there is no light(screen displays as FIGURE 1), and it will go off and remain off when there is light(screen displays as FIGURE 2).

*PLEASE NOTE:

  1. The light sensor has a 12-minute anti-interference delay. For example, let’s say there is enough light and the timer is completely off in the NIGHT ONLY mode(screen displays as FIGURE 2), if you cover the light sensor on purpose to test its sensitivity, the timer will still remain off for about 12 minutes, and then judge that it is at night and begin repeating the interval cycle(screen displays as FIGURE 1).
  2. To test the sensitivity of the light sensor, please unplug the timer from the live outlet first, and then cover or provide light on to the light sensor, and finally re plug the timer into a live outlet again.

Function-4. Always OFF

Namely, timer always has no electricity output

Repeatedly press OFF TIME 3 times. Timer will remain always off.

Function-5. Always ON

Namely, timer always has electricity output

Repeatedly press RUN TIME 3 times, and then press + CONFIRM to change the mode to 24 hour mode(no mode is displayed at the bottom of the screen)

Function-6. ON Only in the Day (on from Dawn to Dusk)

Namely, every day, timer comes on at dawn, goes off at dusk and remains off until dawn the next day

Countdown from Dawn Every Day

  1. Refer to the instructions for Function-1, press RUN TIME, and then use  , , to set the on time to 2H.
    Make sure the run time is shorter than the daytime hours, or what you get is in fact “on from dawn to dusk”.

  2. Refer to the instructions for Function-1, press OFF TIME, then use  , , to set the off time to 999H, and press the CONFIRM button.
    Press + CONFIRM together to change the light sensor to DAY ONLY.
    The timer will then run the 2- hour countdown when there is light(screen displays as FIGURE 1). When there is no light, the screen will display as FIGURE 2.

  1. Refer to the instructions for Function-1, press RUN TIME, and then use  , , to set the on time to 2H.
    Make sure the run time is shorter than the night time hours, or what you get is in fact “on from dusk to dawn”.

  2. Refer to the instructions for Function-1, press OFF TIME, then use  , , to set the off time to 999H, and press the CONFIRM button.
    Press   + CONFIRM together to change the light sensor to NIGHT ONLY.
    The timer will then run the 2- hour countdown when there is no light(screen displays as FIGURE 1). When there is light, the screen will display as FIGURE

Other Settings

Review/Change Time

During running of interval cycle, short press to review the run time and off time you set. To change the run time and off time, refer to the instructions in Function-1 to change the digits and press CONFIRM in the end to activate the new program. Press and hold for 3 seconds to modify the time interval without disturbing the current working state.

Button Lock

Press CONFIRM + together to lock or unlock all buttons. A small lock symbol will appear on the lower right corner of the screen when buttons are locked.

Buzzer for Buttons

Press CONFIRM + together to deactivate or activate the buzzer for buttons. A small horn symbol will appear on the lower right corner of the screen when buzzer is activated.

Clear and Recover

During time setting, press  + together to clear the time set, or press them again to recover the data.
