Instructions for use
Application
Ceiling and wall luminaire · indoor luminaire made of hand-blown opal glass,
satin matt and metal fitter, for all lighting tasks in interior applications.
They are ideal for places where a soft and uniform lighting distribution is
required.

Safety
The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national
safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by
a qualified electrician. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage
caused by improper use or installation. If subsequent modifications are made
to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be
considered the manufacture
Overvoltage protection
The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against
overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547. To achieve an additional
protection against e.g. transients, etc. we recommend separate overvoltage
protection components. You can find them on our website at
www.bega.com.
Please note:
If the luminaire is to be mounted onto a metallic, electroconductive surface,
it is mandatory to make sure that the mounting surface is connected conductive
to the earth conductor of the luminaire!
Luminaire with trim ring:
Before installing onto the mounting surface the luminaire housing must be
inserted into the trim ring (accessory)
Installation
Dismantle the mains supply cable. Unscrew glass from luminaire housing by turning it counter-clockwise. Push silicone sleeves over the lines. Make the earth conductor connection and the electrical connection. Fasten the luminaire housing with the supplied fastening material or other suitable fastening material to the mounting surface. Insert lamp into lampholder. Fix glass to the luminaire housing by turning it clockwise
Relamping · Maintenance
Disconnect the electrical installation. Unscrew glass from luminaire housing. Clean luminaire and glass. Use only solvent-free cleansers. Change the lamp. = Screw glass into luminaire housing.
Accessory · Trim rings
For this luminaire metal trim rings in 3 surfaces are optional available. Trim
rings are accessories and must be ordered separately
