BEGA 33814 Wall Luminaire
Product Information
The Wandleuchte Wall luminaire Applique is a shielded wall luminaire with symmetrical light distribution. It is designed for installation on columns and wall faces. The luminaire is made of aluminium alloy and features safety glass with an optical structure. It has a distance of 85 mm between the upper and lower parts. The luminaire includes a silicone seal, reflector made of anodized pure aluminium, and an LED power supply unit. The luminaire operates on a voltage of 220-240 V and frequency of 50-60 Hz. It is DALI-controllable and has 1 DALI address. The luminaire has basic insulation between the mains and control lines to protect temperature-sensitive components without switching off the luminaire. It has a safety class of I and protection class of IP 64, making it dust-tight and protected against splash water. The luminaire has an impact strength of IK06, providing protection against mechanical damage. The luminaire weighs 1.2 kg and is available in graphite or silver color. It is designed to emit light evenly and efficiently onto the surface to be illuminated, while emitting less than 1% of the luminous flux into the upper half-space of the luminaire. The electronic components in the luminaire are protected against overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547.
Product Usage Instructions

- The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547.
- To achieve an additional protection against e. g. transients, etc. we recommend separate overvoltage protection components.
- You can find them on our website at www.bega.com.
Installation
- LED are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
- In outdoor areas, the light emission may only be directed downwards.
- Undo the screws and lift off the luminaire top. Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry of the luminaire base.
- Note position of application of the luminaire “arrow down”.
- Fix luminaire base with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
- Be sure to use the gasket rings supplied. Make the earth conductor connection and the electrical connection.
- For digital control please use the connecting terminal DA, DA.
- In case this terminal is not used the luminaire will be operated at full light output.
- In order to guarantee the maximum service life of the electrical components, the enclosed desiccant pouch must be placed in the luminaire.
- Remove the desiccant pouch from the foil packaging and place it in the position marked by the red information label immediately before finally closing the luminaire.
- Make sure that gasket is positioned correctly. Make earth conductor connection between luminaire top and luminaire base.
- Install the luminaire top, press-on and manually tighten screws evenly.
