Product Description| Luminaire made of aluminium alloy, colour graphite. Synthetic
diffuser, clear. Reflector made of pure anodised aluminium. 4
drilled holes with thread M4 to which tension cables preventing
pendulum movement can be fixed. Mounting plate with 2 fixing with
plug connection. LED power supply unit: 220-240 V x 0/50-60 Hz DC
176-264 V. DALI-controllable. Number of DALI addresses: 1. Basic
insulation is provided between the mains. Temporary thermal
regulation to protect temperature-sensitive components without
switching off the luminaire. Safety class I. Protection class IP
65. Dust-tight and protection against water jets. Impact strength
IK07. Weight: 7.0 kg.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Carefully read the product manual before installation and usage.

2. Ensure that the luminaire is suitable for the desired application, such as arcades, galleries, or passageways.

3. If installing the luminaire in exterior applications, make sure to protect it from constant pendulum movement caused by wind.

4. Connect the lamp module to the luminaire with the provided wattage specifications: 35.3 W.

5. Choose the desired colour temperature based on your preference: 3000 K (LED-0770/830) or 4000 K (LED-0770/840).

6. The luminaire has a high Colour Rendering Index (CRI > 80), ensuring accurate colour representation.

7. The module luminous flux is 6675 lm (LED-0770/830) or 6865 lm (LED-0770/840), providing bright illumination.

8. The luminaire luminous flux is 4724 lm (LED-0770/830) or 4859 lm (LED-0770/840), indicating the amount of light emitted by the luminaire.

9. The luminaire has a high luminous efficiency of 121.1 lm/W(LED-0770/830) or 124.6 lm/W (LED-0770/840), meaning it provides a high level of light output for the input power.

10. During installation, use the mounting plate with 2 fixing points and plug connection for secure attachment.

Safety

The installation and operation of this luminaire are subject to national safety regulations. Installation and commissioning may only be carried out by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by improper use or installation. If subsequent modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications shall be considered the manufacturer.

Overvoltage protection

The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against overvoltage in accordance with DIN EN 61547. To achieve an additional protection against e. g. transients, etc. we recommend separate overvoltage protection components. Installation

  • For mains supply connection open the mounting box.
  • Release steel cord 3 by pushing the bushing of the cord spanner.
  • If required on site, the steel wire 1 fixed to the back of the mounting plate must be firmly secured to a non-flammable building component.
  • Fix end of steel cord 1 on the back of mounting plate 2 with hexagon socket head screw
  • M5. Lead mains supply cable through the compression nipple into mounting plate. Fix mounting plate with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
  • It is absolutely essential to use the enclosed gaskets.
  • Make earth conductor connection and electrical connection.
  • The two loose plug-in terminals marked DALIare provided for digital control purposes.
  • If these wires are not assigned, the luminaire will work with full light output.
  • Insert steel cord 3 into cord spanner up to the stop.
  • Make earth conductor connection between mounting box and mounting plate.
  • Push plug into coupler up to the stop.
  • Make sure that the gasket is in correct position.
  • Bolt mounting box firmly onto mounting plate.

To shorten the cable pendant

  • The cable must only be shortened within the mounting box. By pushing the bushing of the cord spanner the steel cord 3 is released.
  • Disconnect mains supply cable from plug connection and earth conductor terminal.
  • Loosen locking screws – hexagon socket head screws M4 – for suspension cord.
  • Pull suspension cords out of lock holes.
  • Screw off round nut 4 and pull cable with gasket out of screw connection. Shorten cable to the desired length.
  • Insert pressure disk into the round nut and press gasket into the round nut. Grease connecting cable somewhat and lead it throughround nut and gasket. Tighten round nut as far as it will go and screw it together with the mounting box. Strip lines and pull suspension cords thightly into the lock holes at the cord holder.
  • Tighten locking screws M4 firmly.
  • Shorten steel cords with excess length, protect with end sleeves.
  • Lay steel cord 3 around the cord holder in such a way that steel cord 3 is led between the cord holder and the two suspension cords of the cable pendant.

Replacing the LED module

  • The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
  • The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted. The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools.
  • Disconnect the electrical installation.
  • Undo the hexagon socket screws (wrench size 3 mm) at the mounting box and remove the pendant luminaire.
  • Disconnect plug connection.
  • Undo the hexagon socket screws (wrench size 5 mm) at the luminaire top and remove luminaire housing.
  • Undo 4 hexagon socket screws (wrench size 5 mm) in the luminaire housing (keyholes), turn LED-unit counter-clockwise and pull it out of the luminaire housing.
  • For relplacing the LED module undo the hexagon socket screws (wrench size 3 mm) and lift cover of the LED-unit.
  • Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
  • Assembly to be carried out in reverse sequence.
  • Inspect and, if necessary, replace the luminaire gaskets.
  • Defective glass must be replaced.

Cleaning · Maintenance

  • Clean dirt and debris from the luminaire
  • regularly with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth that is kept damp throughout the cleaning.
  • If possible, please use water for this, adding a little commercial dishwashing detergent.
  • For lacquered surfaces we recommend the use of BEGA Lacquer Care Set 71 179.
  • Cleaning agents containing solvents and highpressure cleaners are unsuitable for cleaning and maintenance.
