Product Information

  • The luminaire is subject to national safety regulations and should be installed and commissioned by a qualified electrician.
  • The manufacturer does not accept liability for damage caused by improper use or installation.

Product Usage Instructions

Safety:

  • Ensure that the installation and operation of the luminaire comply with national safety regulations.
  • Only a qualified electrician should perform the installation and commissioning.
  • Improper use or installation may result in damage, for which the manufacturer is not liable.
  • If modifications are made to the luminaire, the person responsible for these modifications will be considered the manufacturer.

Overvoltage Protection:

  • The luminaire’s electronic components are protected against overvoltage according to DIN EN 61547.
  • For additional protection against transients, it is recommended to use separate overvoltage protection components available on the manufacturer’s website.

Replacement of LED Module:

  • – The designation of the LED module can be found on a label inside the luminaire.
  • BEGA replacement modules have the same light colour and output as the original modules.
  • Qualified individuals can replace the module using standard tools.
  • Before replacing the module, disconnect the system and open the luminaire.
  • Follow the installation instructions provided for the LED module.
  • If the glass is defective, it should be replaced. – Close the luminaire after completing the replacement.

Note : When mounting the luminaire onto a metallic, electroconductive surface, ensure that the mounting surface is connected conductively to the earth conductor of the luminaire. Maintain a distance of 450 mm above the luminaire when replacing the LED module, mounting, or dismantling the glass.

Please note:
If the luminaire is to be mounted onto a metallic, electroconductive surface, it is mandatory to make sure that the mounting surface is connected conductive to the earth conductor of the luminaire!For replacing the LED module, mounting and dismantling of the glass please keep a distance of 450 mm above the luminaire

Installation

LED are high-quality electronic components!

  • Please avoid touching the light output openingof the LED directly during installation or relamping.
  • Make earth conductor connection to the earthing screw (1) on the reverse side of the glass holder.
  • Push silicone sleeves over the lines and make electrical connection.
  • For digital control please use the connecting terminal DA, DA.
  • In case this terminal is not used the luminaire will be operated at full light output.
  • The mounting of the glass holder requires two holes drilled into the wall.
  • Fix glass holder with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.

Note : position of application “arrow down”. Insert the synthetic diffuser by sliding into theLED supporting section until the stop. Place glass with its opening over the LED module. The magnet fixes the glass on the glass holder. Align glass vertically

Cleaning · Maintenance

Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt

Replacement of the LED module

The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire. The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted. The module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools. Disconnect the system and open the luminaire. Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module. Defective glass must be replaced. Close the luminaire
