Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that the installation and operation of this luminaire are carried out by a qualified electrician in compliance with national safety regulations.
  2. Protect the luminaire against overvoltage by using separate overvoltage protection components. These can be found on our website at www.bega.com.
  3. Connect the lamp module with a wattage of 32.8 W to the luminaire.
  4. The luminaire itself has a connected wattage of 37 W.
  5. Ensure that the ambient temperature does not exceed the rated temperature of 25-30°C.
  6. The lamp module designation is 2x LED-0695/930 with a colour temperature of 3000 K.
  7. The lamp has a colour rendering index (CRI) greater than 90.
  8. The module luminous flux is 4830 lm and the luminaire luminous flux is 3845 lm.
  9. The luminaire has a luminous efficiency of 103.9 lm/W.
  10. The module designation is 2x LED-0695/940 with a colour temperature of 4000 K.

Application

  • Wall washer · indoor luminaire for the glare free illumination of wall surfaces with the mounting surface being the reflection surface. The light emits upwards and downwards.

Installation

  • LED are high-quality electronic components! Please avoid touching the light output opening of the LED directly during installation or relamping.
  • Undo screws and lift off luminaire top. Loosen earth connection (plug connection) and LED-connection between luminaire top and luminaire base.
  • Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry of the luminaire base.
  • Note position of application of the luminaire “arrow down”.
  • Fix luminaire base with enclosed or any other suitable fixing material onto the mounting surface.
  • Be sure to use the gasket rings supplied. Make earth conductor connection.
  • Push silicone sleeves over the lines  and make electrical connection.
  • For digital control please use the connecting terminal DA, DA.
  • In case this terminal is not used the luminaire will be operated at full light output.
  • Make earth connection (plug connection) and LED-connection between luminaire top and luminaire base again.
  • Install luminaire top part, adjust it and tighten screws evenly.

Cleaning · Maintenance

  • Clean luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers from dirt.

Replacing the LED module

  • The designation of the LED module is noted on a label in the luminaire.
  • The light colour and light output of BEGA replacement modules correspond to those of the modules originally fitted. The replacement can be carried out by a qualified person using standard tools.
  • Disconnect the system and open the luminaire. Uninstall the reflector.
  • Please follow the installation instructions for the LED module.
  • Install the reflector. Defective glass must be replaced. Close the luminaire.

Replacement of the glass

  • Undo screws and lift off luminaire top. Loosen earth connection (plug connection) and LED-connection between luminaire top and luminaire base.
  • Loosen reflector screws, separate earth connection and remove reflector.
  • Loosen screws of the glass retaining springs and remove glass retaining springs from the luminaire top.
  • Remove damaged glass. Insert replacement glass.
  • Reinstall glass retaining springs and tighten screws on both sides.
  • Insert reflector into luminaire top part, make earth connection to reflector and tighten reflector screws (0,6 Nm).
  • Make earth connection (plug connection) and LED-connection between luminaire top and luminaire base again.
  • Install luminaire top part, adjust it and tighten screws evenly.
