The product is a fixture that requires installation. The package includes mounting hardware, a mounting plate, screws, drywall anchors, candelabra base bulbs (not included), and glass shades. The fixture is compatible with CFL or LED equivalent bulbs up to 60 watts each. The fixture has three wires – black or smooth, white or ribbed, and green or bare copper for the ground. The product is designed to be mounted on a wall and connected to a junction box.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
  2. Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
  3. Loosen screws (E) to remove mounting plate (A) from fixture body (F).
  4. Position mounting plate (A) on the wall, and mark the location of two drywall anchors (B). Pre-drill the holes for the drywall anchors (B). Insert the drywall anchors (B) into the wall.
  5. Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction box (not included) using the mounting screws (D). The side of the mounting plate (A) marked GND must face out.
  6. Screw woodscrews (C) through the holes into the drywall anchor (B) to secure the mounting plate (A).

Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided. After the wires are connected, tuck them carefully inside the junction box.
  8. Slide fixture body (F) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (E).
  9. Install (4) four candelabra base bulbs (H) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
  10. Screw glass shades (I) onto socket cups (G).
