Product Information

The product is a light fixture with item numbers 2495-572. The installation instructions are dated August 13, 2021. The user manual contains warnings and instructions for the preparation, installation, and testing of the fixture. The fixture comes with various parts including a mounting plate, ground screw, mounting screw, rod, candle cover, and canopy. The fixture wires are black or smooth, white or ribbed, and bare copper for the ground. The house wires are black (hot), white (neutral), and green (ground).

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before installing the fixture, shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box.
  2. Remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
  3. Unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts.
  4. Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using the mounting screws provided.
  5. Connect the fixture wires to the house wires by matching the wire colors and twisting them together. Secure each connection with a wire connector.
  6. Attach the canopy to the mounting plate using the screw provided.
  7. If applicable, attach the rod(s) to the fixture using the quick link and loop(s) provided.
  8. Attach the candle cover to the fixture.
  9. Turn the power back on at the fuse box or circuit breaker box.
  10. Test the fixture to ensure it is functioning properly.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
  2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation.
  3. Thread rod (I) onto all thread (J) on top of fixture body and thread coupling (C) over the all thread on rod(I).
  4. Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods (F1, F2 and F3) to all thread on rod (I). Screw loop (H1) onto rod (F1). Carefully feed wire through each rod as you assemble.
  5. Attach quick link (G) to loop (H1) and loop (H2) on canopy (D). Carefully feed wire through loop (H1), quick link (G), and loop (H2).
  6. Attach mounting plate (A) to the junction box (Not included) with mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5”).
    • The side of the mounting plate (A) marked “GND” must face out.
    • CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
  7. Connect the electrical wires as shown in fig 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided.
  8. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
    • COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 3)
  9. Place canopy (D) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (E).
  10. Place candle covers (M) over sockets (L).
  11. Place glass shades (O) on the cups (K).
  12.  Install (6) six candelabra base bulbs (N) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification.

DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
