Laserliner 081260 Master Level Box

Function / application

This digital electronic spirit level features a 360° angle display and a reference function to transfer angles.

General safety instructions

  • The device must only be used in accordance with its intended purpose and within the scope of the specifications.
  • The measuring tools and accessories are not toys.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • The structure of the device must not be modified in any way.
  • Do not expose the device to mechanical stress, extreme temperatures, moisture or significant vibration.
  • The device must no longer be used if one or more of its functions fail or the battery charge is weak.
  • Dealing with electromagnetic radiation.
  • The measuring device complies with electromagnetic compatibility regulations and limit values in accordance with EMC-Directive 2014/30/EU.
  • Local operating restrictions for example, in hospitals, aircraft, petrol stations or in the vicinity of people with pacemakers may apply. Electronic devices can potentially cause hazards or interference or be subject to hazards or interference.
  • The measuring accuracy may be affected when working close to high voltages or high electromagnetic alternating fields.

Danger  powerful magnetic fields

Powerful magnetic fields can adversely affect persons with active medical implants e.g. pacemaker as well as electromechanical devices e.g. magnetic cards, mechanical clocks, precision mechanics, hard disk. With regard to the effect of powerful magnetic fields on persons, the applicable national stipulations and regulations must be complied with such as  electromagnetic fields occupational health and safety electromagnetic fields in the Federal Republic of Germany. To avoid interference/disruption, always keep the implant or device a safe distance of at least 30 cm away from the magnet.

Inserting battery

Open the battery compartment and insert battery according to the symbols. Be sure to pay attention to polarity.

Switching on and measuring

Make sure that the reference function is deactivated before measuring ABS ON.

  • Switch the DigiLevel Plus on using the on/off switch 3.
  • The slope angle (7) is shown in the display. If slopes are measured overhead, the direction of display adjusts automatically.
  • The current slope direction is also shown by the symbol 2.

Calibration

  1. Place the measuring face 17 on an even surface with position mark. Switch on device3.
  2. To access calibration mode simultaneously press buttons 3 and 8.1- appears on the display.
  3. Press the ON/OFF button 3 again 1 flashes. The display then changes to 2.
  4. Turn the spirit level by 180° and place it exactly on the marked surface.
  5. Now press the ON/OFF button (3) 2 flashes. Calibration is concluded when the measured value appears on the display.

HOLD

Press the HOLD button (9) to hold the current measured value on the display.

Auto Off function

In order to preserve the battery, the measuring device switches off automatically if it is left idle for 5 minutes.

Error code

Alignment of the vertical axis is outside the tolerance range.

Information on maintenance and care

Clean all components with a damp cloth and do not use cleaning agents, scouring agents and solvents. Remove the battery(ies) before storing for longer periods. Store the device in a clean and dry place.

Calibration

The meter needs to be calibrated and tested on a regular basis to ensure it produces accurate measurement results. We recommend carrying out calibration once a year.
