INTRODUCTION

CONTROL PANEL

Select Knob: This Knob is used to adjust the master volume and select the content as you like.
Power : This button is used to turn the instrument on and off.
Function: While holding down this button, press the appropriate key on the keyboard to make various settings.
Tone: Pressing this button will enter the Tone selection mode.
Rhythm: Pressing this button will enter the rhythm selection mode.
Start/Stop: This button is used to play and stop the rhythm.
Metronome: This button is used to turn the instrument’s metronome function on/off, and adjust the beat tempo.

REAR PANEL

Headphone Jack: This jack is used to connect headphone with the 3.5mm plug.
Aux Out Jack: This jack is used to connect external speakers with a 3.5mm audio cable.
Power Jack: This jack is used to connect the AC power adapter, please use the 5V adapter, otherwise the product may be damage.
Microphone Jack: This jack is use to connect a dynamic microphone with a 3.5mm plug.
MP3 Jack: This jack is used to connect to external instrument’s audio, with a 3.5mm audio cable.
Sustain pedal Jack: This Jack is used to connect the single sustain pedal.
Pedal Jack: This jack is used to connect a triple pedal (self-provide）with the 3.5mm plug.
MIDI Jack: This jack is used to connect a computer or a smart device with a USB-MIDI cable.

SETTING UP

Power On/Off

Connect the AC adapter or remove the power adapter to use the built-in battery. The USB cable can also charge the built-in battery. Do not charge the battery for a long time please.

Master Volume

The knob can adjust the master volume and use to be other function selection. After turning on, it defaults to adjust master volume. The volume range from 0-16 levels, the default volume for startup is 12 levels. After select the other function with select knob, you can press the knob to back to the volume mode, then the screen showing “VOL”.

Install the Music Rest

Insert the music rest on the instrument as shown.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Selecting a Tone

Press the button [Tone], you can enter the tone select mode after the button light on, then use the knob to choose the tone you like. The SP-88S digital piano features 198 built-in advanced tones, you can check the detail in the appendix list.

Selecting a Rhythm

Press the button Button Icon can play the rhythm directly. Press the button [Rhythm], you can enter the rhythm select mode after the button light on. then use the knob to choose the rhythm you like, and press to start the music. The SP-88S digital piano features 198 built-in advanced rhythms, you can check the detail in the appendix list.

Listening to the Demo Songs

The SP-88S digital piano features 80 built-in demo songs. Press and hold the [Function]button, then press [B2] key on the keyboard to start the demo songs, then use the knob to choose the demo song you like, and press Button
Icon button to stop the song.

Metronome

Press the button [Metronome] to turn on the built-in metronome after the button light on. Press the button [Metronome] again to change the beat from 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4. Press the button Button Icon to stop the metronome.

Adjusting the Tempo

Turn on the Metronome. Press and hold the [Function]button, then press [D0] or [E0] key on the keyboard to adjust the tempo of the metronome. The speed range is The tempo can also use in rhythm mode and demo mode.

Adjusting the Touch Sensitivity

Press and hold the [Function]button, then press [C0] key on the keyboard to turn on/off the touch mode.

Transpose Function

Press and hold the [Function] button, then press [F0] or [G0] key on the keyboard to adjust the value between -12 and +12

Layering Two Voice (Dual Mode)

Select the desired tone which will be designated as Voice1. Press and hold the [Function] button, then press [B1] key on the keyboard to choose Voice2, and turn on the Dual mode. Press and hold the [Function] button, and press [B1] key again to turn off the Dual mode.

Splitting the Keyboard (Split Mode)

Press and hold the [Function] button, then press [A1] key on the keyboard to turn on the Split mode. When the Split model is active, the keyboard will be divided into two separate areas, and the split point default setting E4 key. Press and hold the [Function] button, and press [A1] key again to turn off the Split mode.

Playing the Drum Kit Voices

Press and hold the [Function] button, then press [C1] key on the keyboard to turn on the Drum key mode. Press and hold the [Function] button, and press [C1] key again to turn off the Drum key mode.

Auto Accompaniment

Press and hold the [Function] button, then press [D1] key on the keyboard to turn on the Auto chord mode. The default setting split point is F#3 Press and hold the [Function] button, and press [D1] key again to turn off the Auto chord mode.

Sync

Press and hold the [Function] button, then press [E1] key on the keyboard to turn on the sync mode. The sync function is used to start the rhythm when you press any key of the keyboard, which instead of press the [►/■] Button, allowing you to star your performance more comfortably. Press and hold the [Function] button, and press [E1] key again to turn off the sync mode.

Adding a Fill-in passage

This function needs to be used in rhythm mode. Press and hold the [Function] button, then press [F1] key on the keyboard to add a fill-in passage. If you want to fill-in again, repeat this action

Quick Recording and Playback

Press and hold the [Function] button, then press [G1] key on the keyboard to turn on the Recording mode. At that time, the piano can record the notes you are playing, it can record the max 2000 notes or drum notes. After completing the recording press and hold the [function] button, then press [A2] Key to play back the recorded song.
