API Integration: The product supports API integration with third-party applications and requires the following configuration information:
- Third-Party Application IP Address
- Subnet Mask
- Default Gateway IP Address
Product Network Requirements
If a managed switch is used, the IT system administrator must ensure data exchange between the Trellix and Wireless Area Controllers through the router. The IP network must allow HTTP data exchange between the Trellix Core and third-party applications. For more information on IT network requirements, refer to the WaveLinx Installation and Planning guide.
Product Usage Instructions
To use the product, follow these instructions:
- Configure the product with the required information for either BACnet or API integration, depending on your needs.
- Ensure that the network requirements are met as described in the WaveLinx Installation and Planning guide.
- If using a managed switch, ensure data exchange between the Trellix and Wireless Area Controllers through the router.
- If using third-party applications, ensure that the IP network allows HTTP data exchange between the Trellix Core and the third-party applications.

Performance Specifications
- Trellix Core Pro: Maximum of 3,000 connected devices
- Trellix Core Enterprise: Maximum of 32,500 connected devices
- Trellix Core Virtual Enterprise: Maximum of 32,500 connected devices
Supported Commands
- A subset of the HTTP methods is supported by the REST API
- The Supported method are GET, POST
- ( Notes: PUT and DELETE actions not currently supported)
