INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
For Models #3545-66A
3545-66A Modjeska 1 Light Coal Black Pendant

MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1)

Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts are included as shown in (Fig 1).

Shut off power at the circuit breaker and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.

Remove junction box screws (I) (Size:# 8-32 0.5″) from canopy (K). Secure mounting plate (F) to the junction box (G) (not included) using mounting screws (E) (Size:#8-32 1″ ). The side of mounting plate (F) marked “GND” must face out.
SUGGESTED INSTALLATION (Fig. 1) -
Secure shade (C) to top of light cluster (D). Pull through any necessary Wires.

Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods (A, B) to the all thread on top of shade (C). Pass the wires carefully through each rod as you assemble.
Secure the swivel of canopy (K) onto rod (A). Carefully feed the wire through the swivel
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2) -
Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors (H) are secured. If your junction box (G) has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect both fixture and mounting plate
ground wires to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to mounting plate (F) using the green screw provided.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1) -
Place canopy (K) onto mounting plate (F) and secure with mounting screws (I).

Install (1) one medium base bulb (J) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification—DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!).

IMPORTANT: FIXTURE SHOULD BE
INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO ENSURE PROPER WIRING AND INSTALLATION.
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the
junction box and test the fixture.
