Product Information
The Steel Tire Carrier is a product manufactured by AFX Motorsports. This product is designed for off-road use only and is specifically made for the Maverick Sport 2/4 2019-2020 models. The SKU number of the product is POR032. The package includes a base tire carrier, grill (2x), .850 spacer, bracket, and necessary hardware including 4x 1/4 x 1 1/2 screws and nuts, 4x 3/8 x 1 screws and nuts, 2x 5/16 x 3 screws with washer and nuts, and 4x 5/16 x 1 screws with washer and nuts. The installation manual includes the clamping arms, T30 Torx Screwdriver, 5/32 Allen Key, and 7/16 or 14 mm Combination Wrench.
Product Usage Instructions
- Begin by holding the grill as shown in the image provided in the installation manual.
- Place one 3/8 x 1 screw with nut and tighten all screws.
- Place the base for tire carrier as shown in the image.
- Use four 3/8 x 1 screws with nut to secure the base.
- Set the clamping yourself with the tube as shown in the image.
- Use two 1/4 x 1 1/2 screws with washer and nut to secure the clamping arms (do not tighten yet).
- Place the bracket on the clamping arms as shown in the image.
- Use one 3/8 x 1 screw with nut to secure the bracket (do not tighten yet).
- Repeat step #5 to step #8 on the other side.
- Use the T30 Torx Screwdriver, 5/32 Allen Key, and 7/16 or 14 mm Combination Wrench to tighten all the screws and nuts.
It is important to note that the Steel Tire Carrier is designed for off-road use only. AFX Motorsports will not be held liable for any damages or injuries caused by misuse or improper installation of the product.

HOW TO INSTALL
Pieces included:
Hardware:
- (4x) 1/4 × 1 1/2″ screws and nuts.
- (4x) 3/8 × 1″ screws and nuts.
- (2x) 5/16 × 3″ screws with washer and nuts.
- (4x) 5/16 × 1″ screws with washer and nuts.
Tools needed (Not Included):
- T30 Torx Screwdriver.
- 5/32″ Allen Key.
- 7/16″ or 14 mm Combination Wrench.
INSTRUCTION
- Set the clamping yourself with the tube (as it is shown in the image). Use two 1/4 x 1 1/2” screws with washer and nut (do not tighten yet).
- Place the bracket on the clamping arms (as it is shown in the image). Use one 3/8 x 1” screws with nut. (do not tighteen yet). Repeat step #1 and step #2 on the other side.
- With someone else´s help, place the grill starting from the driver´s side, place one 5/16 x 3” screw with .850 spacer with nut (as it is shown in the image) ( do not tighten yet) (repeat this step on the passenger´s side).
- With someone else´s help, align the arms installed at the beginning to hold the grill (as it is shown in the image). Place one 3/8 x 1” screw with nut and tighteen all screws
- Place the base for tire carrier (as it is shown in the image). Using four 3/8 x 1” screws with nut.
