AFX MOTORSPORTS DEF012 Steel Rear Bumper
Product Information
This is a Steel Rear Bumper for Polaris RZR 900 / 1000XP / 1000XP-4 manufactured by AFX Motorsports. The product comes with assembly instructions, hardware, and U clamps.
The hardware includes
- (2x) 3/8 x 1 Screw with washer and nut
- (2x) 1/4 x 2 Screws with nut
- (2x) 1/4 x 1 1/2 Screws with two washer and nut
- (2x) 1/4 x 1 Screws with two washer and nut
The product is designed for off-road use only and can be installed on Polaris RZR models from 2014-2018.
Product Usage Instructions
- Assemble the arms of the bumper as shown in the image using a 1/4 x 2 screw with nut. Repeat this step on the other side.
- Locate the perforations that are in the low part of the rear suspension plate and align the bumper with the perforations as shown in the image.
- Use two 3/8 x 1 screws with washer and nuts to secure the bumper to the perforations on the rear suspension plate.
- Use a 1/4 x 1 screw with two washers and nut to install the bumper arms to the U clamp.
- Tighten all screws using a 3/4 wrench and a 7/32 Allen key.
Note Before using the product, ensure that it is installed correctly and securely. A combination wrench of 9/16 or 14 mm may also be needed during installation. If you have any questions or concerns about the installation process, please contact AFX Motorsports at info@afxmotorsports.com.

Hardware
- (2x) 3/8 x 1” Screw with washer and nut.
- (2x) 1/4 x 2” Screws with nut.
- (2x) 1/4 x 1 1/2” Screws with two washer and nut.
- (2x) 1/4 x 1” Screws with two washer and nut.
Tools needed (Not Included)
- 3/4” Wrench.
- 7/32” Allen Key.
- 9/16” or 14 mm Combination Wrench.
INSTALLATION
- Assemble the arms of the bumper (as it is shown in the image). Use a 1/4 x 2” screw with nut, do not tighten yet (repeat this step on the other side).
- Locate the perforations that are in the low part of the rear suspension plate. Align the bumper with the perforations (as it is shown in the imgae). Use two 3/8 x 1” screws with a washer and nuts.
- Place the “U” CLAMP hardware over the tube (as it is shown in the image). Use a ¼ x 1” screw and a ¼ x 1 ½” screw with double washer and nut (as it is shown in the reference image). Repeat this step on the other side.
- To finish the installation, tighten all the screws.
