Aluminum Roof for CanAm Commander/Maverick 2 Seater

The Aluminum Roof for CanAm Commander/Maverick 2 Seater is an off-road use product that comes with three tube clamps, two C clamps, an anti-rattling strip, eight 1/4 x 1 bolts with washers and nuts, a 5/32 Allen key, and a 7/16 combination wrench. This product is designed to replace the OEM plastic roof of the vehicle.

Installation Instructions

  1. If the vehicle has the OEM plastic roof, remove it by unscrewing the screws located on the rear and front part of the roof.
  2. Place the aluminum roof and align the holes from the aluminum roof with the original holes on the roll cage (front and rear).
  3. Fasten the front part with two 1/4 x 1 screws with 2 washers and 1 nut. (Do not tighten yet).
    • In case the rollcage doesn’t have the original holes, use the additional clamps (provided) to adjust the front of the roof to the rollcage.
  4. Use the three tube clamps to adjust the rear part of the roof with washers and nuts (included) and tighten them.
  5. Install the anti-rattling strip using the included 1/2 bolt.
  6. Use the 5/32 Allen key and 7/16 combination wrench to tighten all bolts and nuts.
  7. Tip: Install the bolts finger tight at first until all hardware has been installed.

HOW TO INSTALL

Hardware:

  • (8x) 1/4” x 1” Bolts with washers and nuts.

Tools needed (Not Included):

  • 5/32″ Allen Key.
  • 7/16″ Combination Wrench.
  • TIP: Install the Bolts Finger tight at first until all hardware has been installed.
  • Note: If the roll cage doesn’t count with the drillings use the “C” Clamps
  1. In case of having the OEM Plastic roof, uninstall the original plastic roof of the vehicle, removing the screws located on the rear and front part of the roof.
  2. Place the aluminum roof and align the holes from the aluminum roof with the original holes on the roll cage (front and rear)
  3. Fasten the front part with two 1/4″ x 1″ screws with 2 washers and 1 nut. (Do not tighten yet). (In case the rollcage doesnt have the original holes, use the additional clamps (provided) to adjust the front of the roof to the rollcage.
  4. Use the three clamps (included) to adjust the rear part of the roof with washers and nuts (included) and tighten them.
