OPT7 AURA Truck Bed LED Single Row Lighting Kit

MAIN COMPONENTS

OE-STYLE SWITCH SETUP

• STEP 1
  To install the switch, your vehicle will need an open 1 in x 1.5 in slot on the dashboard.

• STEP 2
  Run the rocker switch chosen slot, then connect the control box.

• STEP 3
  Use the zip ties to tie-up any loose wiring.

• STEP 4
  Use the switch to turn “ON” the kit using the OE-style switch.

PRESSURE SWITCH SETUP

Automatic ON feature when tailgate is opened **NOTE: This feature activates white-colored light only, the app will NOT function when this is in use.

• STEP 1
  Drill a small 3/10″ hole in your tailgate bracket.

• STEP 2
  Insert the tailgate pin switch (sold separately) into tailgate bracket.

• STEP 3
  Feed the wiring from the control box through the underbody, and connect to the tailgate pin switch.

• STEP 4
  Use the zip ties to wrap up any loose wiring.

INSTALLATION

• STEP 1
  Prepare the mounting area by removing all dirt and foreign debris and applying the included Adhesive Booster.

• STEP 2
  Decide where to locate the light strips and ensure wiring has enough length for control box to be installed in desired location.

• CONTROL BOX NOT WATERPROOF Ensure the control box is safely and securely hidden from exposing elements of moisture.

EXAMPLE

WARNING

1. Connecting to more than 10 AMP will override the kit and cause early failure, ensure it is 10AMPs or less!!
2. Please ensure that the LED bars or strips/control box/wiring all are mounted in areas where will not exceed 85 or 185.

INSTALLATION

• STEP 3
  Secure Control box in desired TM location with Velcro or zipties.
• CONTROL BOX NOT WATERPROOF Ensure the control box is safely and securely hidden from exposing elements of moisture.
  • STEP 4
    Secure the light strips using the zip ties to tie all the wiring away from the moving components.

* IMPORTANT: The LED connectors are not waterproof. You will need to use HEAT SHRINK TUBE (not included) or ELECTRICAL TAPE around the LED connectors to ensure the longevity of the lighting kit.

• STEP 5
  Using the included E-Z Remote, select your desired color or pattern.

OPTIONAL UPGRADE

Upgrade your Aura Original Control Box to the Aura Pro Bluetooth Control Box. All new AURA Pro Bluetooth is App enabled by a smartphone controller (iOS & Android Compatible).
