4in1: BT + MP3 + AUX + radio

  • wireless BT connection
  • listening to music from mobile device or computer
  • playing MP3 files from USB/SD/microSD devices
  • wired audio input (AUX IN)
  • 3-band AM-FM-SW radio
  • volume indicator 2 x 5 LEDs
  • voice announcement by changing operation modes
  • classic wooden sound box with carrying handle
  • various power supply: built-in accumulator, 4xD/LR20 (1,5 V) battery, (not included), external 6 V adapter or accumulator (not included), accessory power cable for charging

INSTALLATION, POWER SUPPLY

The device has four different power supply options. After charging, it can be operated with its built-in accumulator. In case the accumulator is depleted, plug the enclosed cable in the socket located at the rear side of the device, and then to the power outlet. After maximum 8 hours, unplug it from the device and from the power network as well. Charging indication LED will be lighting, till the user doesn’t interrupt the charging.

Also, you can operate the device with 4xD (LR20/1,5V) batteries, or with 6 V , solar panel, accumulator or adapter, – has to be purchased separately-, to be connected to the socket on the rear side.

Operation time will be approximately 8-12 hours, which depends on the adjusted volume, the selected function, and external conditions (e.g.: temperature).

  • Charge the built-in accumulator for 4-6 hours before the first use with the enclosed network cable. Charging will be slower, if you are listening to music in the meantime.
  • In the future, do not charge it for more than 8 hours if it is discharged completely! Unplug the cable from the device as well as from the network after the specified time! If you do not remove the charging cable from the radio – only from the power network-, the radio will not operate.
  • Place the 4 pcs of D batteries to the battery holder compartment according to marked polarity. If you use the device with batteries, they will be not charged neither with using the charging cable nor with using the external 6V power supply. It is not recommended to use accumulators instead of batteries.
  • Decreasing volume or distorted sound indicates the depletion of batteries or the accumulator. Charge the accumulator, or remove the depleted batteries immediately!
  • Do not use different kinds of batteries and/or used and new batteries together! The batteries should be replaced by adults only!
  • If there is some liquid flown out, then take a protective glove and clean the battery holder with a dry cloth! Do not open, burn and short circuit the batteries! • It is forbidden to charge the batteries which are not rechargeable! Risk of explosion! Do not use accumulators instead of batteries, because their voltage and efficiency is significantly lower!

SELECTING FUNCTIONS
Switch on the device with VOLUME (7) button. Select the desired function with the (13.) slide switch. Radio: AM-FM-SW bands or MP3: MP3 / BT and AUX IN functions.

USE OF RADIO
Select the desired band with the (13.) slide switch. If FM or SW band is selected, carefully pull out the antenna, and set it to reach the best receiving conditions. Seek the desired station with TUNING (14.) knob.

  • Reception ability of radio depends on the site of use, and the actual reception conditions.
  • Handle the antenna with care, so as not to crush it!
  • In case of listening to AM band, there will be a built-in antenna operated. Don’t pull out the telescopic antenna, but rotate the device to the best receiving position.
  • Reception may be disturbed by the electronic appliances nearby!

PLAYING MP3 FILES (FROM SD/MICROSD MEMORY CARD OR USB DEVICE)
Insert a data storage device to the suitable slot/port. Playing will start automatically. Available functions: PLAY/PUSA playing (8.), pause / BACK/FRONT stepping tracks (9.) (10.) / repeating tracks (11.) Slide switch should be in MP3 position and in case of necessity press MODE button (12.), to select MP3 function.

  • Do not remove memory card or USB device during playing, since it may cause damage of data!
  • Recommended file system: FAT32. Do not use NTFS formatted memory unit!
  • Playing will start from the first track after the memory unit had inserted. If you have listened to it previously, then playing will go on from the last chosen track, even if the device had been switched off in the meantime or the storage device had been removed.
  • Unique features of the storage device can cause irregular operation, it doesn’t indicate malfunction!

LINE IN / AUX AUDIO INPUT
If you have such device which is equipped with 3,5 mm audio output or headphone socket, then you can listen to music through the speakers of this radio. Connect the AUX IN (15.) input with the audio output of the other device. Set the slide switch (13.) to MP3 position, and press MODE (12.) button repeatedly, till you can hear AUDIO INPUT announcement.

  • The available sound quality depends on the quality of audio signal provided by the external device.
  • Volume control of external device may significantly affect the sound quality.

USING WIRELESS BT CONNECTION

The device can be paired with other equipment which is communicating by BT protocol, within maximum 10 meters operation range. After pairing, the music which is played on mobile phone, tablet, notebook and other similar device will be audible amplified. Select BT MODE function with MODE (12) button, when the slide switch (13.) is in MP3 position. The LED on the top of the device will start flashing. If you switch on the device with VOLUME (7.)

button and the slide switch is standing in MP3 position, then BT function will be activated. Search for BT devices nearby, including this one, as shown in the instruction manual of the device to be paired. Connect the devices to each other. If the pairing is successful, the flashing LED will be lit continuously and a beep will sound. After that, desired programs will be audible through the stereo speakers.

  • One radio can be paired with one BT appliance at the same time.
  • Volume and sound quality is significantly depends on the setting of the external device. An installed equalizer application allows you to set the desired unique sound.
  • In case of any problem of pairing, switch the radio on off and after on, as well as the BT function on the external device and try again pairing!
  • Actual operation range depends on the other device and environmental conditions.
