Cut and impact protection gloves made of goatskin leather. Fully lined with ® Kevlar liner blended with other yarns. Impact protection sewn on the back of the hand. Very good dexterity and touch sensitivity. Suitable for using on building and constructions, oil and gas industry, demolition etc.
Storage/Transport: The gloves are first packed in plastic bags which are subsequently packed in cardboard boxes for transport and storage. Granberg recommends storing unused gloves in original packaging. Prevent direct sunlight.
Maintenance/Cleaning: Both new and used gloves should be inspected before use, and before putting them on to make sure that there is no damage to them. If in doubt, discard the gloves and select a new pair. Leaving the gloves in a contaminated condition may cause a deterioration of quality.
Cleaning or disinfecting the gloves may also negatively affect quality. The performance characteristics of gloves that have been worn or cleaned/disinfected/laundered may differ from the performance levels declared. Gloves can only be cleaned with damp cloth, but it will not stop permeation processes. The gloves are not washable.
Obsolescence: When stored as recommended, unused gloves will not suffer any change in their mechanical properties for up to five years from the date of manufacture. Service life depends on application and maintenance and cannot be specified. It is the responsibility of the user to ascertain the suitability of the gloves for the user’s tasks.
Donning/Doffing: Select the right size glove for your hand. Hold the glove by the cuff with one hand. Align the glove thumb with your other hand thumb and slide your hand into the glove, one finger into each finger. Pull by the glove cuff and align fingers into the right position. Use the same procedure for the other hand. If gloves are not contaminated, pull by the fingertips to doff the gloves. If gloves are contaminated, hold the glove cuff and pull toward the finger until the gloves come off.
Please note: Inspect the gloves for damage before use. The gloves shall not be worn when there is a risk of entanglement with moving parts of machines. Gloves meeting the requirement for resistance to puncture may not be suitable for protection against sharply pointed objects such as hypodermic needles. Gloves containing latex may cause allergic reactions in case of hypersensitivity to latex. Seek medical advice if applicable. None of the raw materials used in glove, or process of manufacturing it, are known to be harmful to the user. Impact protection was assessed in knuckles area and not on fingertips. Do not expose to open flame. No flame protection is claimed. If the gloves become wet, do not use them to handle hot objects. For multi-layer gloves, performance level are applicable to the whole glove including all layers.
These gloves are intended to protect hands in working environments in accordance with EN 388:2016+A1:2018, EN 407:2020, EN ISO 21420:2020 and ASTM F275 / F2675M-21. ASTM F2675 / F2675M-21 determines the arc rating of gloves specifically intended for electric arc flash protection use only.
The arc rating performance value – ATPV Cal/cm²- is the amount of penetrating energy into the glove fabrics that results in a 50% probability of sufficient heat transfer through the gloves to cause a second-degree skin burn. AR refers to the limit achieved by derating the ignition to withstand Lim exposure. This test method is not suitable for determining electrical protective properties of hand protective products and does not apply to electrical contact or electrical shock hazards. The gloves tested by this test method are new and the rating received by this method may be reduced or eliminated by hydrocarbons loading (diesel fuel, gasoline, etc.), sweat, dirt, grease, or other contaminations. This product complies with ANSI/ISEA 138-2019. It is the responsibility of the user to evaluate and determine risks based on the intended application. The gloves should only be used for applications declared suitable by the manufacturer. Risk should be evaluated keeping in mind the protection levels and the harmonized standards on which gloves are tested. The results of the tests should help in glove selection, however it must be understood that actual conditions of use cannot be simulated and it is the responsibility of the user, not the manufacturer, to determine glove suitability to the intended use. Further information may be obtained from manufacturer.
Wear the products of suitable sizes to provide optimal level of protection and
maximum grip.
User must only choose the glove fitting the size of her/his hand. Fit for
special purpose.
