IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND RETAIN IT FOR LATER REFERENCE

WARNINGS

  • Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language. This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision. After unpacking the unit, confirm that it has not been damaged during transit. Keep the packaging away from children if it contains plastic bags or other potentially hazardous components.
  • Do not place it on the original rearview mirror if it provides a less safe view! Traffic safety is the most important.
  • If necessary, consult a specialist to avoid damaging the device or the vehicle.
  • This device has complex functions. Its operation is affected by a number of external software, hardware, service, geographical and environmental factors, independent of the manufacturer. Occasionally there may be a malfunction that is not a malfunction of the unit.
  • The operation of the functions depends to a large extent on the type of mirror and the phone, the current operating system, the installed applications, their versions and the privacy settings approved on the phone.
  • The operating system and other software required for the operation of the smart mirror, third party products, the current status, changes, development, updating and operation of which do not affect the manufacturer of this product. For this reason, full operation cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances.
  • In case of a malfunction occurs, restart the unit by holding pressed the POWER (on/off) button long (8-9 sec). Also check, that the internet connection is proper.
  • There is only one way to insert a microSIM and a microSD device. If it gets stuck, turn it over and try again; do not force it.
  • Do not store other types of files on the microSD device other than playable files, as this may slow down or prevent playback.
  • Do not remove the connected external device during playback.
  • Recommended memory file system: FAT32. Do not use an NTFS formatted memory unit.
  • Malfunctions may occur due to the unique characteristics of the storage device, this does not indicate a malfunction of the device.
  • Do not store the media in a vehicle if it may freeze or be exposed to high heat.
  • Do not perform any action that distracts you while driving. Operating the device while driving can cause accidents. Spend a minimum of time watching the display.
  • Do not listen too loudly. Adjust the volume so that you can detect outside noise while driving. Excessive volume can also lead to hearing damage.
  • Only for use in 12/24 Volt negative ground vehicles! Use for other purposes may result in electric shock, malfunction, fire. The device is only intended for use in a motor vehicle.
  • Can only be operated from the supplied 5V / 3A miniUSB charger. Remove it from the vehicle socket when not in use.
  • Always use the same fuse of the specified value as the original! Failure to do so may result in fire or damage. (F4A / 5 x 20 mm in the cigarette lighter plug)
  • Do not obstruct the cooling of the appliance, as this may cause internal overheating, fire. Ensure proper ventilation with proper installation. The ventilation openings in the circle must be left free.
  • Make sure the connection is correct. Improper wiring may result in fire or other malfunction.
  • When leading the connection cables make sure that their insulation does not get damaged by any sharp metal objects nearby. You can prevent a short circuit or fire with this.
  • Before drilling or screwing into the vehicle body, make sure that the pipes and electrical cables on the other side of the cover are not becoming damaged…
  • Do not install the device or its accessories in a place where they may interfere with the safe operation of the vehicle. For example, near the steering wheel and the gear shift.
  • Do not allow the wires to wrap around objects. Arrange cables and wires so that they do not obstruct you in driving. Obstructing either the steering wheel, gear shift, brake pedal, etc. hanging wires can be extremely dangerous.
  • In case of any malfunction, turn of the player immediately, and consult your distributor. Many malfunctions are very easy to detect (e.g., no sound, bad smell, smoke, an external object inside the product etc.).
  • Protect it from dust, damp, liquids, heat, moisture, frost and impact, as well as direct heat or sunlight.
  • Do not make any connections (cable or card) during operation. Unplug it beforehand.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the unit, because it can cause fire, accident or electric shock! Incorrect use or installation renders the warranty void.

PRECAUTIONS

Placement, insertion, fixing
When installing the device, make sure that it will not be subjected to the following stresses:

  • direct sunlight or heat (e.g. from the heating system)
  • moisture, high humidity
  • more dust
  • stronger vibration.

The device must be secured to the original rear-view mirror of the vehicle by means of the rubber bands provided. Periodically check the condition of the rubber bands and secure attachment. Attention! Due to frost and sunshine, the rubber bands age naturally and over time they can no longer be securely fastened and need to be replaced. The product is fragile, and moving it while driving can create an accident-prone situation! If you do not use it for a long time, do not leave it in a frosty or hot vehicle! It is recommended to remove the smart mirror before service and technical exam events

Temperature
Before switching on, make sure that the passenger compartment temperature is between 0 °C and +40 °C, as trouble-free operation can only be guaranteed in this range. Extreme weather conditions can damage the device.

Cleaning
Use a soft, dry cloth for regular cleaning. Remove heavier dirt by moistening with water. Be careful not to scratch the display, never wipe it dry or with a coarse cloth. Also support the mirror from the back while gently wiping. Do not use cleaning agents! Do not spill liquid inside the device or on the connectors.

  • The product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
  • To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.

DISPOSAL
Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of the product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising. DISPOSING OF ALKALINE AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES • Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product’s user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment- friendly way.
