SAL Handheld Microphone Series
HAND-HELD MICROPHONE
Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for
use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions were
written in the Hungarian language.
This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as
children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given
instruction concerning use of the appliance and they have understood the
hazards associated with use. Children should not be allowed to play with the
unit. Children may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance
under supervision.
INSTALLATION
The dynamic hand microphone can be used together with such appliances which have a microphone input. E.g.: HiFi device, dictaphone, mixer, amplifier, active sound box.If the socket is not suitable to connect the plug of the microphone with 6,3 mm diameter, then a converter plug has to be used – which is available separately. Check in the description of your device, if it has a suitable socket to connect the dynamic microphone (impedance: c.a. 600 Ohm)!
- Turn the volume down on the device totally and check if the switch of the microphone is in OFF position.
- Connect the microphone to your device, then switch it on.
- By setting the volume-control button of the appliance carefully, gradually increase the volume, as desired.
- Before unplugging the microphone, turn down the volume again!
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE
For perfect connection, keep the plug clear, and don’t touch the contact by hand!
- Use soft, dry cloth to clean the device! Do not use aggressive cleaners!
- Avoid to get any foreign material or liquids to the inner parts of the unit!
- It is recommended to store the microphone at room temperature.
WARNINGS
The volume control switch has to be set to the lowest stage before connecting
or unplugging the microphone plug!
- Do not place the microphone near speakers, because it can cause noise feedback!
- In order to prevent feedback, it is recommended to place the microphone as far as possible from the speaker!
- The feedback can lead to hearing damage and speaker/device failure!
- Do not touch the upper part of the microphone, because it can cause noise!
- Switch off the microphone before you put it down!
- The closeness of certain electrical equipment can cause interference or noise!
- Do not lead the connection cable by the power cables!
- Take care not to bend the connection cable in sharp angle and not to damage it!
- Protect it from dust, humidity, liquids, heat, wet, frost, shocks, direct heat radiation and sunshine!
Waste equipment must not be collected separately or disposed of with household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
