WARNING: The pliers must not be used on live cables/wires under voltage.

DESCRIPTION OF THE CABLE STRIPPING PLIERS

  1. Adjustable limit stop for determining the length of cable insulation that is to be stripped.
  2. Holding grooves for holding the cable while the insulation is stripped.
  3. Cable insulation stripping jaws
  4. Cable thickness adjustment wheel. Turn towards the „-“ symbol for stripping thicker cables, and towards the „+“ symbol for thinner cables. When screwed out fully towards the „-“ symbol, it will not be possible to strip a thin cable.

  • To strip a greater length of insulation (without using the limit stop), it is possible to turn the limit stop by 90°

CRIMPING (PRESSING A CONNECTOR ON TO THE END OF THE CABLE)

  • Prior to putting on the end (connector), twist the copper strands between your fingers by turning them.
