Congratulations! You have just become the proud owner of the exceptional and technologically ultra-modern Styli es Auriga bug trap. Using this bug trap will give you a great deal of pleasure. The blue light attracts insects, and the built-in ventilator then sucks them into a collection container which can be emptied periodically. As with all domestic electrical devices, when you operate the bug trap you need to take special precautions to avoid injury, fire and damage to the equipment. Before using the device, please read these operating instructions carefully and observe the safety guidelines, as well as having regard to the safety indications on the device itself. Safety

Children aged 8 years or over and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, lack of experience or knowledge may only use the appliance if they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or if they have been shown how to use the appliance safely and they have understood the risks inherent in its use. Cleaning and maintenance tasks may not be carried out by children without supervision. Children should not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and power cable away from children under 8 years old. Keep packaging (e.g. plastic bags) away from children! If the appliance has been dropped into water, always unplug the power cable first before removing from the water. Have the appliance checked by a qualified service technician before using it again. Always switch off the appliance and unplug the power cable: whenever it is left unattended, before assembling / disassembling, before cleaning, when it fails to work properly, and after use. The plug must be accessible at all times. For safety reasons, do not use accessories that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer. Never use close to water (bathtubs, sinks, etc.) Do not expose to rain or humidity.
Power supply: We advise connecting the appliance to an earth leakage circuit breaker (max. 30 mA). The voltage must correspond to the information on the appliance nameplate. Never use extension leads with the appliance. Never touch any live parts.
Check the appliance and power cable for damage. Never switch on a damaged appliance (including power cable) – have it repaired or replaced by the manufacturer, the manufacturer’s service centre or by a qualified service technician.
Never open the appliance yourself – risk of injury!
Never immerse the appliance into water or other liquids. Short-circuit hazard!
Never place the appliance or the power cable on a hot surface (hob). Keep the appliance away from open flames. Do not expose the appliance to intense heat (heat sources, radiators, sunshine). This appliance is intended for household use only and not for commercial use. Never connect the appliance to a timer or operate the appliance with a remote-control switch. Never place fingers or objects into the openings in the appliance. Always place the appliance on a dry, even, stable and heat- and humidity-resistant surface. Never place on furniture and / or use outdoors. Always switch off the appliance and unplug the power cable. Never wind the power cable around the appliance. Never unplug the appliance by pulling the power cable, or with wet hands. Do not lay cables in frequently used areas.
Never cover the steam outlet or place objects on it duringoperation – risk of overheating!
If the appliance is used for purposes other than those specified by the manufacturer, operated incorrectly, or not repaired professionally, we will not accept any liability for any resulting
damage. In this case, the warranty claim will be void.
Not domestic waste. Appliance must be disposed of in compliance with local regulations. Make disused appliances immediately unusable. Unplug and cut through the power cable. Take electrical appliances to the point of sale or to a collection point.

Warranty **

The product comes with a two-year warranty from the date of purchase. During this warranty period, Coplax will repair or replace any faulty components or the entire product free of charge. The repaired or replaced product may be new or refurbished, at Coplax’s discretion. The cost of replacement parts and labor will not be charged to the customer. However, please note that this warranty does not cover any implied warranties or conditions of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose beyond the warranty period. For the warranty period of 2 years after the purchase of the appliance, we will repair or replace with a refurbished product (at our option), without any cost to you for either the parts or labor, any machine or part that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTY PROVIDED ABOVE, Coplax DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
Coplax will, at its sole discretion, repair or exchange a product under warranty. NO credit will be issued. The remedies described above are your sole remedies in the event of any
breach of the warranty provided above.

Who is Covered by the Warranty?
The warranty covers the original purchaser of a Coplax product, provided that the purchase was made privately and a proof of purchase in the form of an invoice can be provided. The warranty is non-transferable. Before sending the product for repair, you must fax, email, or mail a copy of the dated original purchase invoice. Make sure to include the model number of the product and a detailed description of the problem. Attach the description to the product using adhesive tape before closing the box. Do not write anything on the original box or modify it in any way.The original owner of a privately-owned Coplax appliance who can provide a dated proof of purchase in the form of an invoice or receipt is covered. The warranty is not transferable. The original dated proof of purchase (a copy needs to be faxed, e-mailed, mailed) prior to returning the unit. Provide the model number of your appliance and a detailed description (preferably typed) of the problem with the item. Enclose your description in an envelope and tape it directly to the appliance before the box is sealed. Do not write anything on or alter in any way the original box.

What is Not Covered by the Warranty?
The following items are not covered by the warranty:

  • Consumable parts that require regular replacement, such as decalcifying cartridges, Clean Cube, activated carbon filter, absorbent filter, etc., unless they are defective in material or production.
  • Damages, defects, leaks, or deterioration resulting from normal wear and tear, improper or incorrect use, negligence, accidents, inadequate installation, incorrect placement and operation, unauthorized repair, exposure to excessive temperatures or conditions. This includes damages resulting from improper use of essential oils or water treatment products and detergents.
  • Damages resulting from inappropriate packaging or mishandling by the carrier during product return.
  • Incorrect assembly or loss of accessories such as nozzles, fragrance tray, tank cover, etc.
  • Shipping and transportation expenses to and from the repair location.
  • Direct, indirect, or consequential damages of any nature, including loss of profits or other economic losses.
  • Damages caused during the transportation of a unit shipped by one of our retailers. Please contact the retailer directly in such cases.

Parts that normally require replacement, such as demineralization cartridges, Clean Cube, active carbon filters, water wick filters and any other consumable item that needs regular replacement except for material or workmanship defects. Damage, failure, loss or deterioration due to ordinary wear and tear from abuse, misuse, negligence, accident, faulty installation, placement and operation, improper maintenance, unauthorized repair, exposure to unreasonable temperatures or conditions. This includes damages caused by misusing essential oils or water treatment and cleaning solutions. Damage resulting from inadequate packaging or carrier mishandling of returned products. Misplacement or loss of accessories such as nozzle, fragrance capsule, water tank cap etc. Shipping and transportation costs to and from any place of repair. Direct, indirect special or consequential damages of any type, including loss of profits or other economic loss. Transportation damage of a unit shipped from one of our retailers. Please contact them directly. This Warranty does not cover damages or defects caused by or resulting from failure to conform strictly to Coplax’s specifications in connection with the installation, operation, use, maintenance, or repair of the Coplax appliance.
