Before using this product, carefully read these instructions and keep the user manual for future reference.

  1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  2. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  3. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  4. The appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided.
  5. The supply cord shall be regularly examined for damage or deterioration. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent. Do not use the supply cord if broken as this may result in electric shock or fire.
  6. If the pins of the plug parts are damaged, the plug-in power supply shall be scrapped. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged plug.
  7. For pluggable equipment, the socket-outlet shall be easily accessible.
  8. Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with wet hands.
  9. Do not forcefully pull the supply cord. Grasp the mains plug to disconnect.
  10. Do not bend, clamp or damage the supply cord and the mains plug.
  11. Remove all packaging materials before using the product. Keep the packaging materials away from children. They pose a risk of swallowing and suffocation.
  12. The device must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the device. Use only in dry places.
  13. Do not place open flames such as candles on the device and keep the device away from open flames.
  14. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
  15. Make sure that the device is only used with the included DC 5V / 1A power supply. If higher voltages are used, the device may malfunction.
  16. Only use accessories and spare parts that are approved by the manufacturer.
  17. Install the device according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  18. Only install the device in sufficiently ventilated surroundings. Place the device on a flat and stable surface.
  19. Do not expose to temperatures above 35 °C. At the installation site make sure that 30 cm to the rear and the top of the device and 5 cm from each side are observed.
  20. Always make sure that the device is pulled out of the socket before transport or cleaning. Only clean it with a dry cloth.
  21. In the event of a thunderstorm or if the device is not used for a long time, disconnect the device from the power supply.
  22. This device has no user-serviceable parts. Do not try to repair this device yourself. Only qualified service personnel may carry out maintenance. In the event of a defect, complain about the device to your dealer.
  23. Never leave the device unattended and take care that nothing is pushed through holes, slots, or any other openings in the device housing. This can result in a fatal electric shock.
  24. Do not place the device near TV sets, loudspeakers, and other objects that generate strong magnetic fields.
  25. This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household wastes. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. USE
5.1 Before each use of the product
Note: During playback, the disc rotates at high speed. DO NOT lift or move the device during playback. DO NOT close the device during playback. Doing so may damage the disc or the device.

  1. Carefully remove the device from the box and remove all packaging material from the device.
  2. Place the device on a stable, level surface.
  3. Unwind the power cord.
  4. Connect the device to your home socket using the included power supply.
  5. Open the lid of the turntable.
  6. Remove all transport locks (adhesive strips, etc.).
  7. Remove the white plastic cover from the clay needle by pulling it in the direction of the arrow.
  8. Remove the cable tie from the tone-arm.

5.2 Power supply
Connect the power adapter to the device and your house socket. Note that the power source corresponds to the
values of the power supply. The device may only be connected to a DC 5V 1A power supply.
5.3 Switch the unit on/off

  • Turn the device on: Turn the [Power controller] control to switch on the device. The power LED lights up when the device is switched on.
  • Turn the device off: Turn the [Power controller] control to switch the device off. If the device is switched off, the power LED does not light up.

5.4 Volume adjustment
To change the volume, turn the [Volume control] until the desired volume is reached.
5.5 Setting the function mode

  1. To select the desired function mode, turn the [Function controller].
  2. The selected mode is shown in colour by the Power LED.
  3. The following function modes are available: BT (blue) / AUX IN (purple) / PHONO (red).

5.6 Bluetooth mode

  1. Turn the [Function controller] knob to BT (Bluetooth) to select the Bluetooth function.

  2. The Power LED shows whether a device is connected.
    • No device connected: Power LED flashes blue.
    • Connected to the device: Power LED lights up blue.

  3. Start the Bluetooth search on your external playback device.

  4.  Select Q.1867 from the Bluetooth list.

  5. Start playback with the external playback device.

  6. You control the playback and basic volume with the external playback device.

Notes:

  • Bluetooth works best within 10 meters outdoors.
  • The device connects to the last connected device.
  • The basic volume is specified by your external device. You can use the volume control on the device to adjust the volume.

5.7 Phone mode

  1. Turn the [Function controller] knob to Phono to select the turntable function.
  2. The Power LED lights up red.
  3. Select the speed based on your record. (33/45/78 rpm.)
  4. Place a record on the turntable.
  5. Lift the tone-arm using the tone-arm lever.
  6. Move the tone-arm over the record.
  7. The turntable starts to turn.
  8. Lower the tone-arm using the tone-arm lever.
  9. Playback begins.

Auto stop

  • On: The turntable stops automatically.
  • Off: The turntable does not stop automatically.

Notes:

  • Before playback, check that all transport stickers have been removed and that the protective cap has been
    removed from the clay needle.

  • The tone-arm does not automatically return to the zero position after playback.

5.8 Aux in mode

  1. Turn the [Function controller] knob to AUX IN to select the AUX IN function.
  2. The LED lights up purple
  3. Use a 3.5mm AUX cable to connect the device to an external playback device.
  4. You control the playback with the externally connected playback device.

5.9 Recording function
5.9.1 Phono recording

  1. Insert a USB stick into the [USB / REC] socket.
  2. Start the playback.
  3. Press the [STOP / REC] button to start recording.
  4. The Power LED flashes red.
  5. To save the recording, press the [USB / REC] button again.
  6. The Power LED now lights up red and the recording is saved.

5.9.2 Aux In recording

  1. Insert a USB stick into the [USB / REC] socket.
  2. Start the Aux In playback.
  3. Press the [STOP / REC] button to start recording.
  4. The Power LED flashes purple.
  5. To save the recording, press the [USB / REC] button again.
  6. The Power LED now lights up purple and the recording is saved.

Note:
• The recording speed is 1:1.
• No song title information is recorded.
• To avoid damage to the USB stick, only pull out the USB stick when the device is switched off.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

This turntable requires little or no regular maintenance. Remove dust with a slightly moistened antistatic cloth.
IMPORTANT: Never use a dry cloth as it will create static electricity which attracts even more dust! Antistatic cleaning fluids are available at specialized stores but must be applied sparingly to avoid damage to rubber parts. It is recommended to fit the needle cover before cleaning or maintenance to avoid damage. If the turntable is not used over a long period of time, the drive belt should be removed to prevent unequal stretching.

6.1 Replacing the turntable stylus (needle)
– Cartridge type: ceramic stereo cartridge
– Stylus: YD-003
– Note: Guide pins are not covered under warranty.

  • Removing the old stylus:
  1. Hold a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push down in the direction of “A”.

  2. Pull the stylus forward and down to remove it.
    • Installing a new stylus

  3. Hold the tip of the stylus and insert its other edge by pressing in the direction of “B”.

  4.  Push up in the direction of “C” until it locks at the tip.

GUARANTEES

Guarantees and limitations of liability
Products are guaranteed for a period of 36 months from the date of purchase, or from the date of delivery to the customer’s home. Depending on the country, this guarantee consists of 24 to 36 months of validity for the legal compliance guarantee.
For countries that only implement a 24-month legal compliance guarantee, a 12-month commercial guarantee is applied at the end of the first guarantee, and supplements it.

Please go to the reception desk at your place of purchase with your proof of purchase (e.g. sales receipt), the product and the accessories it came with, and its original packaging, for all countries other than France. It is important to have the date of purchase, the model and the serial number or IMEI number to hand (this information is usually indicated on the product, packaging, or on your proof of purchase). You’ll need to bring back the product with the accessories needed for its correct functioning (power supply, adapter, etc.). If your claim is covered by the guarantee, the after-sales service may, within the limits of local law, either:

  • Repair or replace faulty parts.
  • Exchange the returned product with a product that has, at the least, the same features and that offers equivalent performances.
  • Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase. Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or reconditioned hardware and components.

Commercial guarantee exclusions:

  • Damages or problems caused by improper use, accident, tampering/modification or an unsuitable current or voltage connection.
  • Use or storage conditions which are detrimental to the good conservation of the appliance (oxidation, corrosion), use of energy, use or installation non-compliant with the manufacturer’s instructions, or negligence or use of peripherals, software or consumables which are unsuitable.
  • Professional or collective, industrial or commercial use of the product.
  • Products that have been modified, or which have damaged, altered, erased or oxidised guarantee seals or serial numbers.
  • Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.
  • Battery failure, caused by overcharging or by failure to follow the safety instructions set out in the manual.
  • Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps or vandalism.
  • Damage caused by any servicing operations carried out by non-authorised persons.
  • Faults caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product: seals, filters, accessories, vacuum cleaner brush and hose, lamps, overhead projector lamps, washing machine paddles, etc.
  • Software updates as a consequence of changes to network settings.
  • Damage caused by elements external to the appliance (foreign bodies, insects, etc.).
  • The contents of the devices – freezer, washing machine, etc. (food, clothing, etc.)
  • Product failure caused by the use of third-party software to modify, change, adapt or alter the product as is.
  • Product failure resulting from its use without the accessories supplied with the product or approved by the Manufacturer.
  • Parts for normal wear and tear or damage from use: tyre, inner tube, brake, etc.

The customer is responsible for regularly backing up the data contained on their hard disk or in the internal memory of their device, and this before any claim is submitted.
Auchan cannot be held liable for the loss or destruction of stored data, nor may it be held liable for damage caused to software resulting from, in particular, a restoration or a breakdown. Similarly, Auchan is not required to check that SIM/SD cards have been removed from returned products.
Under no circumstances shall the provisions set out above reduce or eliminate: the legal guarantee referred to above, and the manufacturer’s commercial guarantee, if applicable (see guarantee form).
