SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using this electrical appliance, read the instructions below carefully and keep them for future reference.
- Before plugging the appliance into a wall socket, check that the local electric current matches the current specified on the hairdryer’s type label. Always plug your appliance into an earthed wall socket.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Defective electrical appliances must be recycled, not disposed of with household waste. Please actively help us in our efforts to preserve resources and protect the environment by disposing of this appliance at dedicated collection centres and rubbish dumps.
- Unplug from the socket once you have finished using the appliance and before cleaning it.
- Warning! Do not submerge the power cord, the plug or the appliance in water or in any other liquid! Never place the appliance under running water!
- Danger of death! Do not use the appliance near water, a bath tub, sink or any other recipient containing water. Even when it is switched off, when the power cord is plugged in, keep the appliance away from water and any other liquid.
- When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off.
- Do not use the hair dryer for any purpose other than drying and styling hair.
- Only use this appliance for the intended purpose. The appliance is not intended for commercial use. This appliance is exclusively designed for domestic indoor use.
- Never use or keep the appliance outdoors.
- Tips for cleaning the appliance are provided in the “Cleaning and Maintenance” chapter.
- Never use accessories that are not supplied or recommended by the manufacturer.
- If you use an extension cord, make sure that its rated capacity matches the appliance’s power consumption.
- Always turn off the appliance before unplugging it.
- Insert the plug into an easily accessible electrical socket so that you can immediately unplug the appliance in the event of an emergency. Remove the plug from the socket to completely stop the appliance. Use the plug as a power cut-off device.
- Make sure that the cable, as well as the electric power cord and the plug do not come into contact with hot surfaces.
- To prevent any damage to the power cord, make sure it does not get crushed, twisted or rubbed against sharp edges.Also keep the power cord away from all hot surfaces and open flames.
- Arrange the cord so that no one can pull on it or inadvertently trip over it.
- If you use an extension cord, its specifications must be adapted to the appliance.
- Never use a damaged appliance! Unplug the appliance from the electrical socket and contact the retailer if it is damaged.
- Risk of electric shock! Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. In the event of a malfunction, repairs must be carried out by qualified personnel.
- Do not use the appliance with wet hands or if you’re standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Never open the appliance’s housing! Do not insert any foreign bodies into the housing.
- Do not place any heavy objects on the appliance. Do not place any objects that give off a flame (e.g. candles) on or next to the appliance. Do not place any objects containing water (e.g. vases) on or near the appliance.
- Keep the appliance away from all hot surfaces and naked flames. Keep the appliance away from heat, cold, dust, direct sunlight, humidity, and all drips or splashes of water.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
- If the appliance drops into water, unplug the power cord first before immersing your hands in the water.
- Danger of death! Make sure that no object, such as hair clips or pins, is inserted in the appliance. These objects may cause a short circuit.
- Do not use the appliance when you have bare feet.
- Do not leave the appliance unsupervised when it is in use or if the power cord is plugged into a socket.
- Risk of burns! The parts of the appliance become very hot when the appliance is operating. Only hold the appliance by the handle.
- When in use, do not use hairspray, water sprays or any other sprays near to the appliance. Only use them when the appliance is switched off and when the power cord is unplugged.
- Never obstruct the air inlet or outlet grills.
- Let the appliance cool down before removing or attaching parts.
- Make sure you do not direct the warm air to your eyes or any parts of your body that are sensitive to heat. During use, make sure your hair is not likely to be sucked into the air inlet.
- Do not block the air inlet and outlet during use. Make sure they are free of fluff and hair.
- For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
- Risk of suffocation! Keep all packaging materials out of the reach of children and babies!
- Recycle the packaging materials in accordance with regulations. Ask local authorities where dedicated collection centres and rubbish dumps are located.
- WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Unpacking
- Unpack all of the parts.
- Just after unpacking, check for completeness and any damage sustained during shipping.If your package is damaged or incomplete, please contact our After-Sales department.
USE
- Connect the plug (6) to a compatible mains supply.
- Use the concentrator (1) when you want to concentrate the power of the air flow on small areas (like a curl or a wave) or when you want to soften curls.
- Turn on the appliance by moving the air flow switch (1) to position
- Always direct the air flow onto hair and not the scalp.
- To avoid over-drying, do not concentrate the heat on one area for an extended period. Move the hairdryer continuously while styling your hair.
- To turn the appliance off, move the airflow switch (1) to 0.
- Always set the air flow switch to 0 and unplug the appliance after use.
Warning ! The concentrator (7) become very hot when in use!
Warning ! If it overheats, the appliance turns itself off automatically.
Unplug the appliance from the power source, then let it cool down completely.
Before using the appliance again, check that the air inlet or outlet openings
are not blocked by lint, hair or other objects.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning ! Before cleaning, make sure you have the appliance switched off.
Always remove the plug (6) from the socket and leave the appliance to cool
down before cleaning it.
Warning ! Never submerge the electrical parts in water or any other
liquid during cleaning or when it is operating. Never expose the electrical
parts to running water.
- Clean the appliance using a soft, damp cloth. Make sure you do not allow any moisture to enter the appliance when cleaning it.
- Never use corrosive detergents, a wire brush, abrasive scouring pad, metal or sharp tools to clean your appliance.
- Dry the appliance completely after cleaning it.
Storage
Place the appliance in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.
The appliance is equipped with a hanging loop (5) so that it can be hung from
a hook.
WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
This product is guaranteed for a period of 36 months (including the legal
guarantee of 24 months as defined by local law as well as a commercial
guarantee of 12 additional months offered by the brand) from the date of
purchase, against any failure resulting from a manufacturing or material
defect.
This guarantee does not cover damage resulting from a faulty installation,
incorrect use, or normal wear and tear.More specifically, the guarantee does
not cover:
- Damage or problems caused by incorrect use, accidents, modifications or an electrical connection with the wrong current or voltage.
- Products that have been modified or whose tamper evident seal or serial number has been damaged, altered, removed or rusted.
- Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.
- Battery failure, as a result of over-charging or non-compliance with the safety instructions set out in the manual
- Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps and any other element.
- Damage caused by any servicing operations carried out by non-authorised persons.
- Faults caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product
- Software updates as a consequence of changes to network settings
- Product failure resulting from the use of third party software to modify, change or adapt the product as supplied
- Product failure resulting from its use without manufacturer-approved accessories
- Rusted products
The manufacturer is not liable for the loss of data stored on the hard drive. Similarly, the manufacturer is not required to check that SIM/SD cards have been removed from returned products.
Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or repackaged hardware and components.
IMPLEMENTATION METHODS
To make a claim under the guarantee, please return your product to the
reception desk of your local sales outlet with the proof of purchase (receipt,
invoice, etc.) of the product and accessories supplied, along with the
original packaging.
The following information will be required: date of purchase, model and serial
or IMEI number (this information generally features on the product, the
packaging or proof of purchase).
Failing this, you must return the product with all accessories needed for it
to work properly (power cable, adapter etc.).
If your product is covered by the guarantee, the after-sales service will
(within the bounds of the local legislation):
- Repair or replace the faulty parts
- Exchange the returned product with a product which has the same features or better and is equivalent in terms of performance.
- Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase.
In the case of a repair covered by the guarantee, your guarantee period will be extended by 6 months. This period cannot be combined in the event of repeated failures.
