WARNING

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance.
It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the appliance. Keep these instructions for future reference and pass them on to possible new owners of the appliance.

  1. WARNING! Use the appliance only for its intended purpose and as described in this manual. Improper use may result in an electric shock, fire or serious injury and may void the warranty.
    In the event of improper use or incorrect operation, we do not accept any liability for resulting damages.

  2. This product is intended for household use only and not for commercial, industrial or outdoor use.

  3. DANGER OF ELECTROCUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use the appliance near a body of water such as a swimming pool, bathtub, vase or pond, or in humid environments such as a damp basement. Do not place any objects filled with liquids, such as vases, near or on the appliance. Do not place the appliance next to a window or expose it to dripping or splashing water. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water (see CLEANING AND CARE). Never touch the appliance or plug with wet hands or when standing in water or if the appliance is wet. Keep the appliance at least 6.6 feet away from water.

  4. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord, or plug, after a malfunction or if dropped or damaged in any manner. If the appliance, cord or plug are damaged in any way, do not use the appliance and contact the retail outlet, the manufacturer, or an authorized service center.

  5. WARNING! Always supervise children when they are near the  appliance. The product is not a toy.

  6. Do not use the appliance with an electrical extension cord or multi-plug as they increase the risk of a fire / electric shock.

  7. Always unplug the appliance from the mains outlet when it is unattended, not in use, when moving the appliance from one location to another and before cleaning.

  8. Place the appliance on a flat, dry and stable surface.

  9. Before first use, make sure the power voltage matches the information on the appliance rating label.

  10. Do not under any circumstances attempt to dismantle or repair the blade or the fan motor. For servicing and repairs, contact the retail outlet, the manufacturer, or an authorized service center.

  11. Do not operate the appliance in the presence of explosive and/ or flammable fumes.

  12. Do not operate the appliance or any parts near open flames, next to cooking or other heating appliances or near flammable materials (such as curtains, textiles or walls).

  13. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch any hot objects.

  14. Do not cover the cord with soft furnishings such as, carpets, rugs, throws or runners. Never place the cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cord in a location where it cannot be easily caught on or tripped over.

  15. To disconnect the appliance from the mains, grip the plug and pull it out from the wall outlet. Do not pull the cord.

  16. Avoid contact with the fan’s moving parts. Never insert fingers, pencils or other similar objects through the mesh cover.

  17. Do not operate the appliance if the fan housing is not properly fixed in place, has been removed or is damaged.

  18. The use of accessories or fittings other than the original parts supplied is not recommended as it may result in an injury, fire or damages and will void the warranty.

  19. After cleaning, ensure the appliance and parts are completely dry before using it again.

  20. RISK OF SUFFOCATION! KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN – Keep all packaging materials out of the reach of babies and children.

  21. The optimum operating temperature range of the appliance is 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C).
    POWER SUPPLY

  22. Keep new and used batteries out of children’s reach.

  23. Do not leave batteries lying around; there is a risk that they could be swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.

  24. Leaking or damaged batteries can burn skin. Use a cloth or protective gloves to remove the batteries and dispose of them in accordance with local regulations. If you do get battery acid on your skin, wash with soap and water immediately. Neutralize with lemon juice, vinegar, or other mild acid.

  25. If battery acid gets into your eyes, consult a doctor immediately.

  26. Batteries cannot not be reactivated, disassembled, burned, buried, or short-circuited. There is a risk of explosion!

  27. Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Only charge rechargeable batteries that are intended for this purpose; use suitable rechargeable battery chargers.

  28. The batteries must be replaced correctly using an identical or equivalent  battery.

  29. The batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity

  30. Dispose of batteries in accordance with local regulations.

  31. Do not expose batteries to heat sources such as sunlight or naked flames. Keep at room temperature.

  32. Do not throw batteries into a fire as they could burst or release toxic substances.

  33. If the battery compartment does not close correctly, stop using the appliance and keep it out of children’s reach.

  34. Always remove batteries before cleaning, inspecting, or performing any maintenance on the appliance.

  35. Remove used batteries immediately from the appliance and discard them in accordance with local regulations.

  36. Remove the batteries when you are not using the appliance for a long time.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of a fire or electrical shock DO NOT USE the appliance with any SOLID STATE SPEED CONTROL DEVICE.

POLARIZED PLUG

The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the wall outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THIS PLUG OR ATTEMPT TO DEFEAT ITS SAFETY FEATURE IN ANY WAY.

BEFORE FIRST USE
  • Unpack and remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
  • Check for damage that may have occurred during transport.
    If any parts are damaged or missing, do not use the appliance and return it to your retail outlet immediately.

SETTING UP THE REMOTE CONTROL
Pull the plastic film from the battery compartment. You can now use the remote control.

Operating the remote control: Point the remote control at the infrared sensor making sure there are no obstacles between the remote control and the fan’s infrared sensor. The remote control range is 6.5-10 feet. The range may vary depending on the brightness of the room.

CHANGING THE BATTERY

  1. Push the release button inwards and pull the battery casing out. Remove the old battery.

  2. Insert 1 x CR2032 3V battery ensuring you follow the polarity (+ and -) marked on the casing.

  3. Slide the battery casing back into the remote control until you hear it click into place.

WARNING: Do not expose the infrared sensor to direct sunlight or other strong light, such as a florescent light.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: The remote-control buttons are the same as the control panel buttons.

  1. Place the fan on a dry, level and stable surface.
  2. Make sure the ON/OFF button is off (no indicator lights are on ).
  3. Insert the plug into a 120 V AC / 60 Hz outlet.
  4. Touch the ON/OFF button to turn on the appliance. The following indicator lights turn on: ON/OFF , fan 1 and fan 2 low speed
  5. Touch the FAN 1 / 2 SPEED button repeatedly to select the fan speed or turn it off. The indicator lights show the selected speed level above the related fan button.

  6. The timer can be set to turn off the fan in 1 to 7 hours time.
    When one or both the fans are on, touch the TIMER button repeatedly to select the time. The indicator lights show the selected time as follows:Indicator light icon| Time

  7. Touch the MODE button repeatedly to select one of the following mode options:
    Indicator light icon| Mode
    ---|---
    | Natural – The fan runs in the selected speed level and will automatically adjust between high, medium and low speed levels randomly.
    | Sleep – The fan will start running in the fan speed selected. Then after 30 minutes it will automatically reduce down a speed level until it reaches low speed. Then it will continue to run in the low speed.
    No mode light| Normal – The fan runs continuously at the selected speed level.
  8. Touch the OSCILLATION button to turn it on and swing the fan through 70degrees. The indicator light will turn on. Touch it again to stop the fan oscillating and turn off the indicator light.
  9. To change the fan direction vertically, manually tilt the fan 1 / 2 upwards or downwards.
  10. When you are not using the fan, turn it off and unplug it to disconnect it completely from the power supply.

CLEANING AND CARE

  • WARNING! Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the wall socket. Never immerse any part of the appliance in liquid or spray water on it. Make sure liquids never get into the electrical parts of the appliance.
  • Do not use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the product.
  • Never attempt to disassemble the motor.
  1. Clean the fan regularly to ensure product longevity.

  2. Remove the 3 screws on the back cover, then twist the front cover counterclockwise and take it off.

  3. Twist the fan blade screw clockwise and take the blade out.

  4. Wipe the blade, fan cover and exterior with a slightly damp, soft cloth.

  5. Dry thoroughly.

  6. Reassemble the fan.

STORAGE

If you are not using the fan for a long period, store the appliance upright in its original packaging or in a dust-free, dry environment.

DISPOSAL

Proper disposal of this product.
