- Also during exercise, check that the band is securely fastened on both sides.
Setting the length of the full body band is described in Chapter 7.3.
4.2 FASTENING STATIC STRAPS
- Insert one end of each static (inelastic) strap through the side eyelets on the vibration plate from below.
- Adhere the two Velcro surfaces to each other. Also during exercise, check that the band is securely fastened on both sides.
4.3 FASTENING ELASTIC ROPES
The elastic ropes shall be fixed in two long, fold-out metal eyelets at the
bottom front of the vibration plate (see overview drawing in Chpt. 2). The
eyelets are swivelled under the plate on delivery and can be swivelled back
there for storage.
- Lift the front of the plate slightly. Using your fingers, swivel each eyelet forward and towards the center of the plate by 90°.
- Check the eyelets for proper seat. If the eyelets are too loose or too tight, swivel the bottom of the vibration plate upward with the help of a second person. Correct the tightness of the screw connection using a Phillips screwdriver.
- Guide the loop at the end of the rope through one of the eyelets.
- Guide the handle of the rope through the loop. Pull the handle to tighten it and to form a knot.
- Repeat the above steps with the second rope on the opposite eyelet.

- Swivel the covers of the four openings on the plate to the side.
- Insert the handles evenly into the four openings as far as they will go.
To dismount the handles, follow the steps in reverse.
Oscillation and Vibration
5.1 GENERAL
Oscillations and vibrations stimulate a reflex-like contraction of the
muscles. Thus, they cause higher activity and effort during strength training.
In addition, they address the deep muscles that cannot be controlled. This
stabilizes the entire skeleton.
Different frequencies cause different effects:
| 5 – 12 Hz| MOBILISATION
Improvement of coordination, loosening up.
---|---|---
| 12 – 20 Hz| MUSCLE FUNCTION
Stretching of the muscle and tendon apparel, promotion of blood circulation.
| 20 – 35 Hz| MUSCLE BUILDUP
Improve fitness, fascial training, promote bone growth.
| 35 – 40 Hz| MASSAGE
In the VP500, three motors provide oscillation and vibration at different frequencies and in different directions. The motors can be switched on individually or combined.
5.2 SETTABLE FREQUENCIES
The following frequencies can be set by selecting the level: Please note that
the vibration frequency (right scale) in each level is significantly higher
than the oscillation frequency (left scale).
5.3 MANUAL MODE
-
In manual mode, you can set the following:
– In standby: duration and type of oscillation/ vibration
– In operation: Selecting frequencies of the active motors by level.
5.4 AUTOMATIC MODE -
In automatic mode, you can choose from three programs.
They combine vertical and horizontal oscillation and/or vibration in different ways. -
Each program takes 10 minutes. It includes 2 cycles of 5 rising or falling frequencies each, combining different motors.
The actual duration of the individual steps may differ a few seconds.
5.5 CALORIE BURNING
Calorie burning during training with the vibration plate strongly depends on
several factors; e.g.:
- Age, muscle mass, environmental factors,
- Gender, height and other genetic factors,
- Type of exercise on the vibration plate.
A dynamic workout or aerobic workout on the vibration plate will generally burn more calories and build more muscle than just sitting or standing on the plate.
Example: A person weighing 70 kg performing aerobic exercises on a vibration plate might burn very roughly: 10 kcal per minute.
Control
You can control the vibration plate via the console on the device and/or via
the remote control (see below).

Disposal
Dear customer,
As an end user, you are legally obliged to collect waste electrical and
electronic equipment and batteries as well as accumulators separately from
municipal waste. We want to make this as easy as possible for you. Please note
the information on this page and on the back.
Notes on EU directive 2012/19/EU (in Germany implemented in ElektroG (Law
about electric and electronic devices); elsewhere implementation may differ)
We advise owners of electric and electronic equipment that waste electrical
and electronic equipment must be collected separately from municipal waste in
accordance with the applicable legal regulations. The symbol of a crossed-out
garbage can, which is shown on waste electrical and electronic equipment, also
indicates the obligation to collect this waste separately.
B. Notes on disposal and symbols for an electrical appliance based on EU
Directive 2006/66/EU (in Germany in accordance with the Battery Act (BattG);
elsewhere, implementation may differ)
Old batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with household waste.
As an end user, you are legally obliged to return used batteries. The symbol
with the crossed-out garbage can means that you are not allowed to dispose of
old batteries in the household waste.
Use the official collection points for this, such as the collection points of
public waste disposal carriers. You can also return used batteries to retail
outlets, provided they sell batteries. If the symbol Cd, Hg, or Pb is
displayed under the symbol of the crossed-out garbage can, this is an
indication that the battery contains either cadmium, mercury or lead. These
are toxic heavy metals that not only pose significant risks to the environment
but also to human health.
RECYCLING LOOP
Packaging material can be conveyed back to the raw material cycle. Dispose of
packaging material in accordance with legal provisions. Information can be
retrieved from the return or collections systems of your community.
