The Ultra Slim Dolby Atmos Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer
includes various components such as the soundbar, wireless

Installation

Option A: Tabletop Placement

Place the soundbar on a tabletop directly below the TV
screen.

Option B: Wall Mounting

Warning: To prevent injury, securely attach the
soundbar to the floor/wall following the user guide. Suggested wall
mounting height: 1.5 meters.

Note: If you are unfamiliar with power tools or electrical
wiring layout, consult a professional installer.

  1. Insert wall anchors into each hole in the wall if
    necessary.

  2. Tighten the wall mount brackets on the wall with screws and a
    screwdriver.

  3. Remove the screws at the back of the soundbar and install the
    wall mounting screws.

  4. Lift the soundbar onto the wall mount brackets and slot it into
    place.

Operation

Remote Control

Replacing Remote Control Batteries:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the remote control.

  2. Replace old batteries with new ones ensuring correct
    polarity.

  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

Pairing the Subwoofer:

The subwoofer and soundbar will automatically pair when both
units are plugged in and turned on without requiring a cable
connection.

  1. Insert the AC Adapter into the power input port (DC IN) of the
    soundbar and switch it on for automatic pairing.

INSTALLATION

Option A: Tabletop placement

· If your TV is placed on a table, you can place the soundbar on the table directly in front of the TV stand, centered with the TV screen.

· If your TV is attached to a wall, you can mount the

soundbar on the wall directly below the TV screen.

Option B: Wall Mounting
· If you intend to install this product yourself, you must check for electrical wiring and plumbing that may be buried inside the wall. It is the installer’s responsibility to verify that the wall will safely support the total load of the soundbar and wall brackets.

Notes: · If you aren’t confident with the installation, consult a licenced trade professional. · Additional tools (not included) are required for the installation. · Do not overtighten screws. · Use an electronic stud finder to check the wall type before drilling
WARNING: To prevent injury, the soundbar must be securely attached to the floor/wall in accordance with this user guide. Suggested wall mounting height: 1.5 meters.

Note:
If you are unfamiliar with power tools or the layout of electrical wiring in the walls of your home, consult a professional installer.

1. Drill 2 parallel holes (Ø4mm/0.16″ each, according to your wall type) in the wall. The distance between the holes should be 1053 mm.
2. Insert wall anchors into each hole in the wall if necessary. Tighten the wall mount brackets on the wall with screws and a screwdriver (not included). Ensure they are securely installed.
3. Remove the screws at the back of the soundbar. Install the wall mounting screws into the back of the soundbar.
4. Lift the soundbar onto the wall mount brackets and slot it into place.

OPERATION
Remote Control
The provided remote control allows the soundbar to be operated from a distance. · Even if the remote control is operated within the effective range of 6m, remote control operation may be impossible if there are any obstacles between the soundbar and the remote control. · If the remote control is operated near other products that generate infrared rays or if other remote control devices using infrared rays are used near the soundbar, it may operate incorrectly. Conversely, the other products may also operate incorrectly.
Replacing the Remote Control Batteries
1. Press and slide the back cover to open the battery compartment of the remote control. 2. Insert x2 AAA size batteries (included). Make sure the polarity symbols (+ and ­) on the
batteries match those in the battery compartment. 3. Close the battery compartment cover.

Pairing the Subwoofer

The subwoofer and soundbar will automatically pair when both units are plugged into an electrical outlet and turned on. No cable is required for connecting the two units together.
1. Soundbar: Insert the AC Adapter into the power input port (DC IN) and switch on the soundbar. The soundbar will start searching for the subwoofer signal automatically.
2. Subwoofer: Insert the AC power cable into the power input port (AC-IN) and switch on. The subwoofer will automatically connect to the soundbar.
3. The subwoofer indicator will be solid once it’s connected successfully.
4. The soundbar and subwoofer will automatically connect next time they are powered on.

Notes:
· Do not press the PAIR button on the rear of the subwoofer, unless manually pairing.
· If the automatic pairing fails, press and hold the PAIR button on the subwoofer then press and hold the (MUTE) button on the remote control to manually pair.

Using Dolby Atmos Dolby Atmos is available only in HDMI mode. For the details of the connection, please refer to “HDMI Connection”. 1. To use Dolby Atmos® in HDMI mode, your TV must support Dolby Atmos. 2. Ensure that “No Encoding” is selected for bitstream in the audio output of the
connected external device (e.g., Blu-ray DVD player, TV, etc.). 3. When entering Dolby Atmos / Dolby Digital / PCM format, the soundbar will display
DOLBY ATMOS / DOLBY AUDIO / PCM AUDIO.
HDMI eARC/ARC · The ARC (Audio Return Channel) function allows you to send audio from your ARCcompliant TV to your soundbar through a single HDMI connection. To enjoy the ARC function, ensure your TV is both HDMI-CEC and ARC compliant and set up accordingly. When correctly set up, you can use your TV remote control to adjust the volume output (VOL +/- and MUTE) of the soundbar. · Connect the HDMI cable (included) from the soundbar HDMI OUT (TV eARC/ARC) port to the HDMI ARC port on your ARC-compliant TV. Then use the remote control to select HDMI (TV eARC/ARC).

Bluetooth® Operation Pairing the soundbar with a Bluetooth® device to listen to music:
First time pairing
1. Press the button on the remote control to select Bluetooth® mode. The Blue indicator will flash slowly.
2. On the Bluetooth device, switch on Bluetooth, search for and select `Kogan KADA312WRSA’ to start pairing.
3. Wait until you hear the voice prompt from the soundbar. 4. Select and play audio files or music on your Bluetooth device.
Pairing a new device after first time pairing press and hold the button on the remote control to disconnect from current Bluetooth connected devices and enter the Bluetooth pairing mode. Follow step 2-3 to pair your Bluetooth® device. Note: Compatibility with all Bluetooth® devices is not guaranteed.

CLEANING & CARE
1. Do not subject the unit to excessive force, shock, dust or extreme temperature. 2. Do not tamper with the internal components of the unit. 3. Clean the unit with a damp (never wet) cloth except metal contact or speaker grille.
Solvent or detergent should never be used. 4. Avoid leaving your unit in direct sunlight, humid or dusty or extreme cold/hot places.
Keep your unit away from heating appliances and sources of electrical noise. 5. Do not install or place this unit in a bookcase, built-in cabinet or closed space. Ensure
the unit is well ventilated. 6. Un-plug the unit from the mains socket after used or lightning storm or while cleaning. 7. Do not open any covers as this may expose dangerous voltages. Caution: Never allow any water or other liquids to get inside the unit while cleaning.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If you encounter problems when using this soundbar, check the following points before requesting service. For further support, contact help.Kogan.com. Avoid attempting to repair the system yourself to prevent any potential issues.

Problem Product wont power on
No sound

Solution
· Ensure that the power cords of the both products are properly connected.
· Ensure that there is power at the electrical outlet.
· Press the power button to turn the sound bar on.
· Make sure that the soundbar is not muted. Press MUTE or volume +/- button to resume normal listening.
· Press button to switch the soundbar to standby mode. Then press the button again to switch the soundbar on.
· Unplug both the soundbar and the subwoofer from the mains socket, then plug them again. Switch on the soundbar.
· Ensure the audio setting of the input source (e.g. TV, game console, DVD player, etc.) is set to PCM or Dolby Digital mode while using digital (e.g. HDMI) connection.
· The subwoofer is out of range, please move the subwoofer closer to the soundbar. Make sure the subwoofer is within 5 m of the soundbar (the closer the better).
· The soundbar may have lost connection with the subwoofer. Re-pair the units by following the steps on the section “Pair up with the Subwoofer”.
· The soundbar may not be able to decode all digital audio formats from the input source. In this case, the soundbar will mute. This is NOT a defect. device is not muted.

Remote control does not work
TV has display problem while viewing HDR content from HDMI source.
The sound bar is not discoverable on my Bluetooth device for Bluetooth pairing
The product suddenly powered off.
Dolby Atmos® effects not working.

· Before you press any playback control button, first select the correct source.
· Reduce the distance between the remote control and the sound bar.
· Insert the battery with its polarities (+/-) aligned as indicated.
· Replace the batteries.
· Aim the remote control directly at the sensor on the front of the sound bar.
Some 4K HDR TVs require the HDMI input or picture settings to be set for HDR content reception. For further setup details on HDR display, refer to the instruction manual of your TV.
· Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on your Bluetooth device.
· Ensure you have paired the sound bar with your Bluetooth device.
· The sound bar has a Bluetooth function that can receive a signal within 8 metres. Keep a distance within 8 metres between the sound bar and your Bluetooth device.
When the unit’s external input signal level is too low, the sound bar will turn off automatically after 15 minutes. Increase the volume level of your external device.
For non-HDMI connections (such as use of Bluetooth), limited height Surround effects are generated. See the section of `Dolby Atmos®’ about how to achieve best Dolby Atmos® effects.
