INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the SubZero PS09 Pedal Power Supply. To get the most out of your product, please read this manual carefully.

BOX CONTENTS

  • 1 x Adapter with four plug heads (EU, UK, US, AU)
  • 7 x Power cable
  • 1 x Reverse polarity cable (red tip adapter)
  • 1 x Five head daisy chain

FEATURES

  • Pedal power supply provides support for up to eleven pedals.
  • Suitable for a variety of pedal types with various voltage outputs.
  • Compact design ensures effortless integration into your pedalboard.
  • Comes complete with cables and adapters

CONSIDERATIONS

Only use the supplied 18V AC/DC Adapter to connect to the input of the power supply. The SZ-PS09 should only be used to power DC pedals.

The polarity of all DC outputs are CENTRE NEGATIVE – Centre positive pedals should only be connected in conjunction with the inverse polarity cable included (red connector).

Pedal polarity should be identified before being connected to prevent damage to the pedal.

Voltage requirement of the pedal should be identified before being connected to prevent damage to the pedal – Pedals can be damaged if powered using a voltage that exceeds what is required by the pedal.

When using the included 5 head daisy chain cable, the total power consumption must not exceed the total number of Amps available by the output in use – For example when using the 9V 1A output, all pedals must operate at 9V with a total power consumption of less than 1A.

The total output power across all outputs must not exceed 36W.

To calculate the total output power:

Calculate the power consumption in Watts (W) for each individual pedal by multiplying the input voltage (V) by the current requirement in Amps (A).
(note that 100mA=0.1A)

For example, a pedal that requires 9V 50mA will consume 9 x 0.05 = 0.45W

Add the power consumption for all the pedals together.

POWER OUTPUTS

5 x 9V 100mA output
1 x 9V 1A output
2 x 12V 1A output
1 x 18V 2A output
