To turn off the appliance turn off the two buttons and take the plug out of the socket outlet.
Concerning ONLY oil-filled radiators with an in-built overturn protection
switch (activates in case the appliance falls on the floor)
The radiator has an in-built overturn protection switch. In case of
overturning it will switch off the power supply to the appliance. After this
kind of switch-off, let the radiator cool down before setting it in upright
position. Then it will restore its normal operation.
NOT ALL oil-filled radiators are equipped with this function. You should check if your appliance has this function – by tilting the radiator sideways the indicator lights should switch off; by restoring the appliance back into upright position they should switch on. DO NOT do this test when the radiator is hot – there is a risk of burning.
Thermoregulator adjustment
Power switch and thermoregulator should be set to maximum position until the
desired room temperature is reached. Then turn thermoregulator switch in the
opposite direction till red light indicator goes down. Thermoregulator may
stay in that position after that. Immediately after room temperature falls
below thermoregulator value thermal switches are turned on automatically until
set temperature is reached. In that way room temperature is steady with
minimum energy consumption. If you want to prevent temperature fall in the
room below 0 degrees Centigrade adjust thermostat switch in its initial
position and turn on the two power buttons.
24-hours timer models (“T”)
Adjust the heating period in the following consequence: • Set the clock to the
correct time. If it is 10 o’clock turn the figures dial so that the mark is
positioned to the figure of 10.
Note : Turn the figures dial only in the direction indicated with arrows! Adjust the period of operation of the appliance by pushing black keys to the center – every one of them corresponds to 15 minutes period. Sector of the pushed keys will correspond to the period of operation of the radiator in automatic mode every day.
Important : Plug should always be connected to the socket outlet!
- In order to change programmable period of automatic operation turn black keys backwards and adjust new periods of operation.
- If you do not want the appliance to operate in programmable mode push all black keys to the center of the figures dial. To turn off the radiator in that case you have to pull the plug out of the socket. In that way unnecessary operation of the timer is avoided.
Thermal fan models (“V”)
Models equipped with a 500W thermal fan offer faster achievement of desired
temperature and better ventilation in the room. Thermal fan may function
separately or together with oil-filled radiator. Thermal fan is positioned in
the bottom part of the front panel of the radiator and is turned on by a
switch positioned in that part of the panel. Cold air is sucked through the
grating in the front part of the front panel and hot air is released in the
room through the grating positioned in the bottom side part of the radiator
panel. Desired room temperature with thermal fan operation is adjusted by
thermoregulator of the radiator in the above mentioned manner. For the normal
operation of the thermal fan it is necessary that air passes unobstructedly
through inlet and outlet grating. Electrical device is intended for domestic
use in premises with low level of dust pollution. Dust is accumulated after
certain period of operation. In is necessary to check periodically level of
pollution and if needed to consult the service organization for cleaning.
Note : In case of obstruction of grating of incoming and outgoing air thermal protection is enabled. It turns off heater of the thermal fan. In that case disconnect radiator from the socket outlet, eliminate the cause of the obstruction, wait about 5 minutes and turn on the radiator again. If the thermal fan does not operate connect authorized service at your location. Minimum distance between hot air outlet of the thermal fan and furniture (or other objects) should be 60 cm. We recommend when desired room temperature is achieved to turn off thermal fan and to operate the appliance only in “radiator mode”.
MAINTENANCE
In order to provide long period of operation your oil-filled radiator does not need any kind of special maintenance. Clean radiator with a damp soft cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive detergents. If necessary use a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust from the radiator!
