Product Usage Instructions

Section A: Prepare your PVC for Installation

  1. Lay your 10′ section of 4 Diameter PVC pipe flat on the floor.
  2. Using a Tape Measure and Marker, measure 3 feet from the narrow side of the pipe and make a mark on the PVC pipe at the end of the tape measure (indicating a 3 feet long section).
  3. Starting at the mark you made in the last step, mark all the way around the pipe. Be sure to keep the line straight for the best fit. (If this is difficult, you may place a zip-tie around the pipe and tighten down. Then trace along the edge of the zip-tie.)
  4. Cut the pipe all the way through, along the mark from Step 3. Remember, cut the line as straight as possible for best fit. This will give you 1 of the 3 sections required. Repeat Steps 2-4 until you have three separate 3′ sections of PVC pipe.

Section B: Assemble and Install PVC Feeder Leg Bracket
Now that you have prepared the (3) pipe sections, follow these steps to assemble and install the PVC Feeder Leg Bracket

  1. Remove all the parts and components from their packaging.
  2. Determine if an adapter is needed for your feeder legs. You can do this by sliding the given adapters onto your feeder legs to see which has the best fit.
  3. Choose one of the three configurations for installation:
    • A ONLY
    • Mounting Bracket
    • Bend in leg bracket
    • A + B
    • Mounting Bracket
    • Square Leg Adapter (leg width < 1 1/2 in)
    • A + C
    • Mounting Bracket
    • Round Leg Adapter (leg diameter < 1 3/8 in)
  4. If you have difficulty screwing through the leg, drill a pilot hole with a 1/8 or smaller drill bit first.
  5. Slide the PVC cap down the leg bracket so that it rests on top of the mounting bracket. If your feeder is already assembled, you will need to remove the leg assembly from the hopper to install. If you cannot remove the feeder leg bracket, install the PVC cap onto the leg bracket before mounting the leg bracket.
  6. Slide one of your PVC Pipe sections up the feeder leg and firmly insert it into the PVC Cap, ensuring that the pipe is sitting flush against the inside of the cap as you secure it using (2) self-tapping screws through the mounting holes.
