Product Usage Instructions
Overview:
The AC Electronic Controller is designed for use with fans equipped with thermal cut-out protection. In case of a thermal cut-out event, the controller will switch off automatically, and the trip indicator will be illuminated.
The unit features an illuminated on/off switch and a start button. To activate the controller, ensure the on/off switch is in the on position and press the start button.
Connection:
The controller should be connected as follows:
- BROWN wire – VARIABLE LIVE
- BLUE wire – NEUTRAL
- GREEN/YELLOW wire – EARTH
Controller Terminal Block:
The terminal block is labeled as follows:
- L
- N
- U2
- U1
- AUX
- E
Starting the Controller:
To start the controller:
- Ensure the power supply is connected.
- Turn the on/off switch to the on position.
- Press the start button to activate the controller.
FAQ:
Q: What should I do if the trip indicator is illuminated?
A: If the trip indicator is illuminated, it means a thermal cut-out event
has occurred. Check the fan for any issues and reset the controller by
pressing the start button after resolving the problem.
Q: Can I use the TK function with all models?
A: The TK function is available for select models. For controllers with
TK function, add the suffix TK to the model number. Note that the EL101 model
does not support this feature.

Overview
TK versions are for use with fans fitted with thermal cut-out protection. In
the event of the thermal cut-out, opening the controller will switch off and
the trip indicator will be illuminated. Units are complete with illuminated
on/off and start button. The start button must be pressed to start the
controller once on/off switch is in the on position.
