Can you help Granny with her washing? It’s such a windy day that hanging out her underwear is going to be a fun challenge!

CONTENTS

In the box you will find:

• A green base
• A rotating washing line
• Granny
• Granny’s dress (in two halves)
• Granny’s glasses
• Washing – 8 x knickers and 8 x bras
• A dice
• Stickers for the washing and for the dice.

HERE’S HOW TO SET UP THE GAME

1. Decorate the washing with the stickers.
2. Add a sticker to each face of the dice.
3. Push the washing line onto the post in the centre of the base. Make sure the parts are correctly aligned.

GET READY TO PLAY

• Get Granny dressed! Clip the two halves of her dress around her body. Pop on her glasses.
• Attach Granny’s hands to the top rail of the washing line. She needs to hang on so clip her firmly onto the rail.
• Deal out 4 pieces of matching colour washing to each player.

IT’S GRANNY’S WASH DAY — LET’S GO!
Turn on the switch underneath the base. The youngest player goes first.
Roll the dice and if you roll:
A SUN – add 1 item of your washing to the washing line. Pass the dice to the next player.
A WHITE CLOUD – the sun has gone in. Miss a turn. Play passes to the next player.
A RAIN CLOUD – it looks like rain. Take 1 piece of your washing off the line. Play passes to the next player.
A TORNADO – 0b no! It’s going to get super windy Granny! Press [and let go of] the button on the side of the base.
Watch Granny spin in the wind. Most of the time, the wind won’t be too bad and she will spin round safely. You can now add another piece of your washing to the line, then play passes to the next player.
BUT IF THE WIND IS REALLY BAD…
Laughing Granny will be swept into the air along with the washing — she may even lose her dress!
The player who triggered the tornado must re-dress Granny and collect all of their colour knickers and bras which fell off the washing line. The other players can rehang their washing on the line. Play passes to the next player.
WHO WILL BE THE WINNER?
The winner is the first player to successfully have ALL four items of their washing on the line at the same time!

Battery Safety Information

• WINDY KNICKERS requires 3 x AA batteries (not supplied).
• We recommend alkaline batteries for optimum performance.
• An adult should install the batteries and take note of the following – open the cover on the base of the unit by using a cross head screwdriver. Insert the batteries making sure the + and — signs on the batteries are aligned with the corresponding + and – markings inside the compartment.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
• Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before charging them.
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
• Insert batteries in the correct polarity.
• Remove exhausted (used) batteries from the toy.
• Remove batteries from the toy if it is not going to be used for a long period of time.
• Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
• Batteries should be replaced by an adult.
• Do not attempt to power battery products from the mains supply and do not insert connecting wires into electrical socket outlets.
• Dispose of used batteries at a recycling point. Never dispose of batteries in fire.
