Instructions

  • Power on: Press top button for 2 seconds till the light on.
  • Charging: Charge using USB-C port.

Indicator Light Guide

  • Working Status: Solid blue light
  • Low Battery: When battery level drops below 10%, blue light flashes.
  • Charging Status: Flashing blue light when charging; blue light stays on for 30 seconds when fully charged then turns off.
  • Pairing Mode: Automatically enters pairing mode after startup. In iPad settings, go to Bluetooth and select “ESR Geo Digital Pencil” to connect.
  • Button Functions: After Bluetooth pairing, single-click to return to the home screen; double-click to open the multitasking view.

Safety Instructions

  1. Do not store the product below – 10°C or above 35°C.
  2. Avoid exposure to fire, water, or rain.
  3. Inspect the product before use, and do not use it if there’s damage.
  4. Do not disassemble or modify the product. Avoid using sharp objects on the digital pencil.
  5. Do not use it in high-temperature, humid, or corrosive environments to avoid a warranty void.

FIND MY SECTION

Preparation:

  1. iPad with iOS 14.5 or later and “Two-Factor Authentication” enabled.
  2. Enable “Find My”: Go to Settings > Your Name > Find My > Turn on “Find My [Device]”
  3. Enable Bluetooth connection.
  4. Wi-Fi or cellular data network connection must be strong
  5. Enable “Location Services”: Go to Settings > Privacy > Turn on “Location Services”.

Pairing Instructions

  1. Ensure your device meets ‘Preparation’ requirements, then power on digital pencil.
  2. On your iPad: Navigate to ‘Find My’ > Items > Add Item > Other Supported Item
  3. When ‘ESR Geo Digital Pencil’ is found, tap ‘Connect’.
  4. Select ‘Name Item’, then enter a ‘Custom Name’ to name your digital pencil and choose an ‘Emoji’. Tap ‘Continue’
  5. To link with your Apple ID, tap ‘Agree’. 6. Complete pairing by tapping ‘Finish’.
    Do not exit Find My app when pairing. Restart digital pencil if not connected within 3 minutes.

Locating the Capacitive Pen

Locating the capacitive pen on the map

  1. Open ‘Find My’ app.
  2. Select ‘Items’ tab.
  3. Tap item to locate it on the map.
  4. Tap ‘Directions’ to view location of digital pencil on map.

Playing Sound

  1. Open ‘Find My’ app.
  2. Select ‘Items’ tab.
  3. Tap item, then tap ‘Play Sound’.
    Sound will play once it reconnects or when within Bluetooth range (approximately 50 meters). In offline mode, sound cannot be played and connection to the network is required.

Marking the Digital Pencil as Lost or Enabling Lost Mode

  1. Open the ‘Find My’ app and select the ‘Items’ tab.
  2. Tap the lost item.
  3. Scroll down to ‘Mark as Lost’ or ‘Lost Mode’, then select ‘Activate’ or ‘Enable’.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to display contact information or to customize a message.

Removing the Digital Pencil

  1. Open the “Find My” app, then tap “Items” tab.
  2. Select digital pencil. 3. Scroll down and tap “Remove Item”.
    Ensure the digital pencil is connected to remove it. If disconnected, manually clear the pairing data (press and hold the top of the digital pencil for 20 seconds until you hear a beep, then release it to clear the pairing data).

  • Q: Unable to connect to Find My?
    A:

    1. Please ensure that all preparation steps are completed
    2. Restart the digital pencil if pairing fails.
  • Q: The digital pencil is on but is not functioning?
    A: Remove the pairing information for any Apple Pencil if connected to an iPad.
