MyQ Print Server 10.1 (patch 15)

Please note, this upgrade will be required in order to prevent issues when upgrading 10.1 Embedded Terminals (specifically Kyocera, Lexmark, Canon and Ricoh) to upcoming patches.
Improvements
- It’s now possible to add ID cards with up to 32 characters, accommodating modern methods such as those generated by Apple Wallet.
Changes
- Adjustments required for backward compatibility with selected 10.1 Embedded terminals which now support multi-instance run. The multi-instance feature for terminals is compatible with MyQ X Print Server 10.2 only.
Bug Fixes
- It is possible to type in any text in user attributes fields in Entra ID synchronization source settings.
- When upgrading a terminal from version 8.2 to 10.1, the old package is not always properly uninstalled.
- “Save as CSV” function on the Users page did not include ID Card and PIN information which helps to see whether users have PINs and ID Cards registered in the system.
- QR code for login to Embedded terminal contains old hostname after backup recovery.
- When ID Card transformation is incorrectly configured, and cannot be performed, Print Server service might stop running.

Bug Fixes
- A scheduled report is generated and sent repeatedly to the same user when the user is a member of multiple user groups.
- Direct prints may not always be released after they were paused on the server due to an active user session on the Embedded terminal.
- When an HTTP proxy is used, users or admins might not be able to connect to services such as Microsoft Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, or Sharepoint Online.

Improvements
- Apache updated to version 2.4.61.
Changes
- Adjustments to meet the new requirements for card payments that mandate additional cardholder information during credit recharge with GP Webpay. For customers using GP Webpay, upgrade is strongly recommended.
Bug Fixes
- Inconsistency in default Accounting group when moving user into and out of group and switching accounting mode.
- After upgrading from version 8.1, the edited columns in reports are resetting to their default settings.
- In some instances, the original document type (doc, pdf, etc.) of a print job may be incorrectly detected.
- The Updates widget could incorrectly show “Update available” for the server even when this version is the one currently installed.
- Reprinting a favorite job with new job properties will alter the original properties of that job.
- Resolved issue preventing the creation of Easy Fax terminal actions.
- The server was not accepting statistics with unknown jobs from the Embedded terminal causing performance degradation

Bug Fixes
- Easy Config > Log > Subsystem filter: “Unselect all” is present even if all is already unselected.
- Changing database password in Easy Config causes “An error occurred while sending a request to the server” when Print Server and Central Server are running on same Windows server.
- Change of OCR file format output is not propagated to actual scan.
- When a higher number of Job Roaming jobs is being downloaded from a site while being printed and the user logs out, these jobs might not return to the Ready state, and would not be available for print next time.
- Some groups might be considered different if they contain full-width and half-width characters in the name.
- Panel scan fails when printer hostname contains dash.
- Parameter %app% doesn’t work in the dialog “Create direct queue” which creates a direct queue for a selected printer.
- Direct printing from SAP to Ricoh devices could leave the user session hanging, blocking the device.
- PIN displayed on the user’s request (i.e. when the user attempts to recover the PIN) is displayed without leading zeros. Example: PIN 0046 is displayed as 46.
- Easy Scan to Fax Server fails with error Invalid argument.
- Changing of the MyQ data folder fails if folder name contains special characters.
- Moving job to different queue via “moveToQueue(‘queue’)” script doesn’t delete the original print job.
- Report “Project – User Session Details” displays session totals for every job printed without Embedded terminal.

- MyQ Print Server service could crash in cases of deletion of temporary files ending with errors.
- Connections to LDAP using StartTLS may not be processed correctly, causing problems with authentication and temporarily inaccessible services (authentication servers set to use TLS not affected).

Easy Config settings to lock/unlock PHP Scripting is applied also to Queue’s User Interaction Scripting, improves security by allowing to keep these settings in read-only mode at all times
(resolves CVE-2024-22076). -
Invalid login attempts logged in the main log now also contain the IP address of the device where the attempt was performed.
Improvements
- REST API Added option to soft-delete users.
- Added option to switch accounting and reporting to clicks instead of sheets for paper formats and simplex/duplex (available in config.ini).
- Apache updated to version 2.4.58.

- B4 paper format is considered small and accounted with 1 click.
- Job price calculation option in the Accounting settings applies to all paper formats considered large (A3, Ledger).

- REST API Removed capability to change the authentication server of a user (LDAP) server.
- Traefik’s vulnerability CVE-2023-47106 solved by updating Traefik version.

- The Help widget on the dashboard does not display the custom title specified in the settings.
- Searching a codebook on the embedded terminal does not work for the query “0”, no result is returned.
- Report “Credit and quota – Quota status for user” takes too long to generate in some cases.

- Users who have available OneDrive Business or SharePoint destinations now can browse their entire storage when using Easy Print and Easy Scan, allowing them to select/enter any file/folder they have access to. If Folder browsing is disabled on this destination, scanned files are saved in the root folder of the storage.

Bug Fixes

- Synchronized users who are members of groups with identical names to MyQ built-in groups in the source, are wrongly assigned to these built-in groups due conflicting names.
- In rare cases, Web Server Error could be displayed to a user after login due to multiple memberships in the same group.
- Credit statement in CSV cannot be downloaded.
- License plan of License widget contains label “EDITION”.
- “Operation failed” error could be shown when user is connecting Google Drive storage.

- In Job privacy mode, user running a report is excluded when Exclude filter is not used.
