The Air Fry Oven and Microwave is a versatile kitchen appliance that combines the functions of an air fryer, microwave, and convection oven. It allows you to cook a variety of dishes with crispy and golden results using little to no oil. The oven features a dedicated Air Fry mode, as well as other cooking modes such as Microwave Cooking, Melt/Soften, Convection Cook, Keep Warm, Power Level, and Timer.
Air Fry Tray
- The Air Fry accessory consists of two pieces: a tray and a pan.
- The tray is designed for air frying and helps to achieve crispy results. Caution should be taken when handling hot items, and oven mitts or potholders should be used.
Air Fry Pan
The Air Fry pan is used for preheating and should be handled with caution as it will be hot. It is important to note that the Air Fry pan and tray are designed for air frying only and should not be used for microwave cooking.
Quick Start Microwave Cooking
- You can quickly start microwave cooking by pressing the number buttons 1 through 9 for 1 to 9 minutes of cooking at 100% power.
- The microwave will automatically start cooking after a two-second delay.
Melt/Soften
- The Melt/Soften function is used to melt or soften foods using lower power. It is suitable for tasks like melting butter or chocolate, as well as softening ice cream or cream cheese.
Air Fry:
- The Air Fry mode circulates heated air to deliver crispy and golden results with minimal oil. It is important to monitor foods when using this mode, as they may cook faster compared to traditional methods.
Convection Cook
- The Convection Cook mode uses a fan to circulate heat for quick and even cooking results. It offers options for Convection Bake and Convection Roast.
Keep Warm
- The Keep Warm mode is used to maintain cooked foods at serving temperatures in the microwave oven.
Power Level
- The Power Level function allows you to manually adjust the microwave cooking power level and time stages for more precise cooking.
Timer:
- The Timer can be set for up to 99 minutes and 99 seconds, serving as a convenient timer for various cooking tasks.
Product Usage Instructions
- Set up your microwave: Remove all packaging materials and tape. Ensure that the turntable support and turntable are in place before operating the microwave. It is recommended to have a qualified technician confirm that the electrical supply meets the requirements of a minimum 120 volt, 60Hz AC, 15 amperage dedicated circuit. Refer to the Use & Care Guide for additional tips on microwave care.
- Set your clock: Touch the clock icon. The time will start flashing. Enter the desired time using the appropriate buttons, then touch the clock icon again to set the clock.
- Turn off/on your display: To turn off the display when not in use, press and hold the clock icon for 3 seconds. To turn on the display, press and hold the clock icon for 3 seconds again.
- Set the sound level: Touch the settings icon twice. When “Sound” is displayed, press Start. The display will show options for low, medium, high, and off. Select the desired sound level by pressing Start.
- Air Fry Oven: Before using the Air Fry mode, ensure that the Air Fry pan and oven are preheated. Caution should be taken when handling hot items, and oven mitts or potholders should be used. Avoid leaving the microwave door open for an extended period of time after the preheat tone.
- Quick ongoing care: Clean the microwave oven with warm water and mild soap or use Frigidaire ReadyCleanTM Ovenand Microwave Cleaner. Keep the waveguide cover clean to ensure optimal microwave performance. Clean the turntable and turntable support to maintain performance and reduce rotation noise. BEFORE YOU START
Set up your microwave
- Remove all packaging material and tape and make sure your turntable support and turntable are in place prior to oper-ating the microwave. For best performance have a qualified technician confirm the electrical supply is a minimum 120 volt, 60Hz AC, 15 amperage dedicated circuit.

Set your clock
- It’s easy! Touch clock icon. Time will flash. Enter time and touch the clock icon to set.
Before cooking with the Air Fry oven for the first time
- Set your Air Fry at 400°F for about 15 minutes. As the Air Fry oven gets settled in your home, it’s normal to experience some noises and smoke.
YOU’RE IN CONTROL
Turn off/on your display
- Press the clock icon and hold for 3s. The display will turn off and remain off when not in use.
- Press the clock icon and hold for 3s. The display will turn on and remain on.
Set the sound level
- Touch the settings icon two times. When you see Sound displayed press Start and low, med, high, off will scroll in the display. When you see the desired sound level press Start..

- When it is time to replace your charcoal filter, the display will show FILTER.

AIR FRY OVEN
Let’s Get Cooking!
- Place the Air Fry pan in the oven onto the glass turnbable with the legs in the extended position. Press the Air Fry button.
- Select the preset temperature, from 2 to 9, on the display, press Start..
- Enter the suggested time according to the food packaging, press Start..
- While the Air Fry pan is pre-heating place the food into the the Air Fry tray, up to 3 servings.
- When the preheat tone sounds, place the Air Fry tray with the food in the preheated pan.
- Close the door and push Start..

Tips:
- The +30/+10sec buttons can be used to add cooking time during the cooking cycle.
- After the preheat tone, avoid leaving the microwave door open for a long period of time.
- Your Air Fry accessory is made of two pieces, a tray and a pan.

AIR FRY OVEN AND MICROWAVE MODES
- QUICK START MICROWAVE COOKING by simply pressing 1 through 9 for 1 to 9 minutes of microwave cooking at 100% power. A two second delay will occur and then the microwave will automatically start cooking.
- +30Sec/+10Sec are convenient cooking times and at the touch of button you can begin microwave cooking for 30 or 10 seconds. You can also add time to any cooking cycle in progress simply by pressing the button.
- POPCORN is used to pop corn in three convenient sizes.
- DEFROST is used to defrost frozen foods such as meat, poultry and fish by weight.
- SENSOR COOK uses moisture and humidity to adjust cooking time and power level for various foods and quantities.
- SENSOR REHEAT uses moisture and humidity to adjust cooking time and power level for various foods and quantities, such as beverages, soup, dinner plates and more.
- MELT/SOFTEN is used to melt and soften foods by using lower power. It’s easy to melt butter or chocolate. You can soften ice cream or cream cheese too.
- AIR FRY circulates heated air to deliver crispy and golden results with little to no oil.
- CONVECT COOK uses a fan to circulate heat for quick and even results. Convection Bake and Convection Roast are both available with the convection cook button.
- KEEP WARM is used to keep cooked foods at serving temperatures in the microwave oven.
- POWER LEVEL is used to manually microwave cook with multiple power level and time stages.
- TIMER can be set for 99 minutes and 99 seconds as a convenient timer for your home.

FAQs
Why does my microwave make noises when I’m cooking?
- Temperature changes during cooking and cool-down can make parts of the microwave expand and contract.
- The controls click as they work to control the magnetron for microwave cooking.
- The magnetron will click as it works to create cooking temperatures.
- Different fans run to heat and cool down different parts of the microwave, even when it’s off. These sounds are normal.
Why does my turntable make noises when turning?
- Food build-up on turntable and turntable support wheels can make noise as the turntable rotates.
- The turntable and turntable support should be washed to maintain performance and rotation.
This microwave doesn’t work like my old one. What’s wrong?
- We know adjustment isn’t always easy. As you get used to the new microwave you may need to test and adjust cooking times for recipes.

Can I use the Air Fry pan and tray when microwaving?
- The Air Fry pan and tray are designed for Air Fry cooking only and should not be used for microwave cooking.
Why does FOOD show in my display?
- If the microwave door is opened and closed, for example, to reheat a cup of coffee, but the microwave is not started for five minutes, then the word FOOD will be displayed, and the microwave will not work.
- Open and close the door to clear FOOD from display and the microwave will work.
