APEX CINEMA GEAR M2 3rd Battery Mounting Plate

Product Information

The M2 3rd Battery Install Kit includes the following components:

• Core SWX Gold Mount Plate with Pre-Wired Genuine LEMO Power Connector
• Apex Cinema Gear M2 3rd Battery Mounting Plate
• 4x M3 Screws

Tools needed for installation:

• Phillips #2 Screwdriver
• 2mm Allen Key

Note : Removing the lower electronics from your Steadicam post is not required, but it can make the installation process easier.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Place all the tools and parts on a clean and flat work surface.
2. Locate the 5 Phillips screws on the bottom of your electronics.
3. Unscrew the 5 Phillips screws and remove the cover plate. Keep the screws aside.
4. Position the M2 3rd Battery Mounting Plate on the electronics and secure it using the 5 Phillips screws you removed in step 3.
5. Attach the Gold Mount Plate to the 3rd Battery Mounting Plate using the provided M3 screws.
6. If necessary, reattach the lower electronics to your post and connect the 3-pin Lemo connector to either of the 12/24v ports on your sled.

Tools Needed

• Phillips #2 Screwdriver

It is not required that you remove the lower electronics from your Steadicam post, but it makes the installation easier and is shown here for clarity.

INSTALLATION

• Step 1
  Place all of your tools and parts on a clean and flat work surface.

• Step 2
  Locate the 5 phillips screws on the bottom of your electronics.

• Step 3
  Unscrew the 5 phillips screws and remove the cover plate. Place the 5 phillips screws to the side.

• Step 4
  Place the M2 3rd Battery Mouting Plate on the electronics and attach using the 5 phillips screws you removed in step 3.

• Step 5
  Attach the Gold Mount Plate to the 3rd Battery Mounting Plate with the provided M3 screws.

• Step 6
  Re-attach the lower electronics to your post if needed and plug the 3-pin Lemo into either of the 12/24v ports on your sled.
